I've been stalking around the interwebs looking for general stuff on poi and well... it seems every road (or in this case, link) leads back to Home of Poi. So I thought I'd join I'm totally new to ALL of this, so please be gentle.
Ok, so here's my stuff:
Name: Ash, Ashes, Ash3s, Mel (don't ask) all work, all are used.
Location: Durbz, South Africa (That's the sunny continent at the bottom of the map)
Hometown: Amanzimtoti, or Toti to the locals
Birthday (sign?): November, Scorpio - Nuff said.
Age: I'm too old to answer this question
Sex: F... Wait... Ya... Female
Occupation(s): General non-technical web stuff & admin stuff & some IT stuff & a bit of technical writing stuff.
Favorite Food(s): Anything with the word "pasta" in it.
Favorite Color(s): Red & Black... wait, black's a shade, not a colour. Hmmm... Just red then.
What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? Bru, I'm telling you... it was like THIS BIG and it had like teeth that were THIS BIG. For serial.
Toys: Rainbow coloured poi, PS2, PS3, PSP... or wait, this isn't a gaming forum... Rainbow coloured poi
Hobbies other than the obvious: Gaming, Flamenco Dancing, Photography
Education: Graduated from the School of Life

Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why? Star Wars Star Destroyer... because Star Destroyer Lego is WAAAAAAAAY more awesome than Godzilla Lego.
Favorite TV show(s): Smallville, Avatar - The Last Airbender (yes, it was a tv series before it was a movie), I dunno... tv's not really big in my life. TV = gaming
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) An astronaut. If that fails refer to Occupation above.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Alter Bridge is my current addiction. I love anything rock, hardcore, emocore, etc... Although, my IT guy left a folder entitled "hippie chunes" on my desktop today consisting of; what it's called, progressive something or other. Gonna give that a listen
Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? Dude, in order to answer this question we require 1 x photograph of said butt in said pants and 1 x photograph of said butt without said pants on. We will then compare, confer with all the members of our office, proceed to giggle ourselves silly and then return with a verdict. Please send above mentioned photographs via PM
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Favorie isn't a word... But my favourite (see, I'm South African, we add the "u") ice cream is ... drum roll please ... Mozart Symphony. Yeah, it's a local thing. Basically, it's a mouthful of vanilla, caramel, chocolate and biscuit heaven.
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?* Marmite... only Vegemitions eat Vegemite and I don't nom Nutella, I'm sweet enough

Why avoid the Astons? Astons are always nice to fellow Saffricans.

Astons can be bad but, our Aston isn't as worrisome as others.
And unfortunately, people do help themselves to some Fugee but that is okay, I like being shared especially when it's hugs.
