New member from Sheffield, soon to be Tokyo!

Hi!
I'm Darren (or Teku on forums etc), currently living in Sheffield for university, then going to work in Tokyo as an evil salaryman from the summer!

Just to make packing harder for myself I've just ordered some pendulum 80mm contact poi from here as I want to try my hand at a little bit of poi for a change! My idea was to go at it from a body rolling kind of angle (I'm predominantly a body rolling contact juggler) and see if I can use the knob/rope to make some interesting new ideas smile

or, it could be a complete flop laugh3

Either way, I look forward to trying! I plan to learn regular/contact poi as well so whatever happens it should be good fun.

If anyones interested theres plenty of contact vids HERE to give you an idea of what I mean, especially done multiball style it could work out pretty interesting I hope...ball stalls, multiball chestrolls etc...ahhhh how long do they take to send to the UK usually?? eek

Anyway I'll leave it at that. I look forward to getting a new addiction with poi!

P.S Nutella! And if anyones going to the BJC come over and say hi, I'll be the one doing contact with bright orange balls a size too big!
