ok, well after a while of contemplating ive decided to do my very own intro thread 
whoo!kk so info bout me...... well im jenna or jen (one of many ive found), 20 and living in halls at bolton uni which i love!
doing psychology BSc which is cool and hopefully i want to go into maybe, the police, criminology. find all that type of stuff interesting and the dirty gritty side of life doesnt bother me.
when i finish uni i want to do some traveling whoo! thinking of going maybe whistler for a season as a snowboard instructor as well as france (les arcs looks cool). been boarding for nearly 5 years and love it! but never been on a boarding hol
wanna go south africa to visit family as well as scotland. also want to spend time in spain, canada and aus.i love my music, got loadsa stuff cause i used to do a bit of DJin at one point. fav band is korn but i love a lot of the none mainstream stuff, as well as a lot of older stuff.
films too are great! i love 80s fantasy like willow etc, and books too are great
(god i sound like i love everything).currently reading Raymond E. Feist's magician series.
in ten years time i hope to have my own house with a room filled with films, books and music
better chill b4 this gets too long hehehe, got into poi trough teejay_blue and loki and been goin to the manc meets ever since, cant wait for falmouth

well he did actually see me, i was driving down the main road and he was the second car in a queue to turn right going across my lane, the first car just had time to go through. the second went to go then stopped, then just as i was about to pass him drove out into me! so the tosser saw me
anyways he drove off, then had the cheek to come back and drive past so i got his number plate!
anyways ive reported it all now, my legs bruised but ok and ive now got my bike back and i can drive to bjc
had an interview today....hope i get it

Dont forget to get a doctors report. If its his fault, you can claim the bike damage off his insurance AND compensation for your injuries! Speak to your insurance company and the police

thankyou freebird, i have been to the police and made a report and to the hospital, im contacting my insurance today so will see what they say

back from bjc, had a wicked time but now im all sad to be home.
happy because i got the house to myself till my new housemate moves in in june, but its all quiet

sounds like BJC was great fun *jealous* A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

got a call from a solicitor at bjc, turns out they are making a claim for me
so gonna see what happens, and get that guy to pay for what he did, my legs still swollen and bruised

yeah i know, hence why i want change because i know this isnt what i want, i have no idea what i do but thats worth finding.
theres nothing really keeping me here and nothing i want. the job is so dis-heartening, i basicly live on my own (which is nice sometimes but not all the time), my mum and step-dad are abroad working, theres only really my sister in manchester who im sure i can see anytime i want. the rest of the family dont really attempt to keep in touch.
blu i know youve made big changes, do you have any ideas or advice? i always take my time on decissions and think things through, but i just dont have a clue.

1.Decide EXACTLY what it is that makes you unhappy.(eg: job or move house?) Decide exactly what it is that you want to get out of it (eg: more money, or just a change of scene)ie: if you move, do you want to like with someone who is there all the time, do you want to live with a few people soi that theres always someone at home, do you want to live with someone who is never there? Do you want to live on your own. Do you want to live with professionals, party people, girls only boys only.... What EXACTLY do you want?
2.Explore your options (get a similar job someplace else, get a completely different job, become homeless and dont work, study, go travelling,) Make sure you even give time tooptions you know you wouldn't take, when you realise just how many options you actually have it makes you feel better about the possibility of getting it wrong.
3. When making a change, BE AWARE of the fact that it may not be a change for the better, but take comfort in the fact that you can always change again.
4.Talk to your friends. When making a change you will feel unsettled and unsure, a little support from a friendly face goes a long way.
5. Having just a bit of extra money goes a long way, because you never know all the issues that may arise when trying to make a change
I came to england on a whim...I didn't really think it through, and for my first year here I was miserable and lonely and scared and too stubborn to give up and go home. I'm glad I stuck it out though. I also moved to Brighton on a whim. After my first visit I went back, quit my job and moved down with nowhere to live and no job. It was hard in the beginning, and I didn't have a lot, I even spent christmas and new years on my own...but I knew it woiuld be worth it...and it was,I've never been more content in my life.
You don't need to make rash decisions like I did, that way you will probably save yourself the trouble I had to deal with in the beginning. But taking chances is what its about I think. Both times I knew I always had the option of going back if I didn't like it, so I knew I was allowed to make mistakes, once you realise that, its a lot easier.
Also, I cant stress enough how important friends will be when making a big change. Just knowing that someone is there, even if they dont do anything is a big help.

i havent been happy for a few months now, and so need to sort my life out. i suppose the job is the first step, but theres is more i want to do.
with friends, i dont have the closeness i used to have with before, i have many 'friends' but not the type who i can talk.
sorry for all the moaning! i just dont like the way things are at the mo

just had an offer to move to qatar (small country in the middle east next to saudi arabia).
i would have accomadation and a sponsor (my mum), i would have to move and then look for a job. is this a good idea? good i actually get the skills and experience i need for a better job in england whne i move back? im so confused
what if it turns out to be a mistake? i would have to leave my home, sell my bike etci think my head is spinning at the mo!

I think its a brilliant idea and opportunity Bubbles...if you like that sort of thing. You don't HAVE to sell your bike do you? You could get someone to look after it for you. Remember, if you don't like it you can always come back, and start again. You're still young so you can do this sort of thing. You will make mistakes bubbles, but you'll also get some things very very right.

ive been moved campagnes at work now but im positive a few of us are gonna get dismissed next week, will have to see...

Thank you for all the fun at the BJC. It was great to spend some time with you. I have caught Wills cough and have spent a whole week making horrible choking noises... I now just have a bubbly gurgle going on. I think I should be allowed to poke Will in the belly next time I see him
Good luck paintballing. Remember to wear loads of layers. The paintballs really sting when they hit.
Is there a possibility of taking a long holiday over to Qatar before jumping in head long, so you can see if you like it out there, and commiting to moving out there? Then again, sometimes we do just need to take a leap of faith and hope everything works out. As has been said, if it all goes tits up you could always come back again. It's not like you would have nowhere to stay whilst re-locating back here if you needed to. Lots of Hoppers would offer you a bed... us for one.
Give all those northern Hoppers a hug from me, especially Roman (if you ever see him). It's been so long since I've seen them all.

ive been to qatar last year for 10 days so i know what to expect, but it is a big jump. problem is i cant leave too much of a gap not working, and im trying to find a new job here first which is difficult.
paintballing was wicked! im covered in bruises
and i was name man of the match hehehei think we gonna try organise go-kating next
