So I just started fire poi a little while ago and I was wondering what others liked to use.
Right now I'm using monkey fist heads(kevlar core), ball chain, and Kerosene.

Monkey fist heads without a solid core (I use a knot in the wick as the core; awesome fuel capacity), twisted oval link chain, and a lamp oil/coleman's mix. I seem to be tending towards shorter chains lately from about two feet now down to 18" or so.
