Hey all! I'm new to Poi but thorougly loving every minute of it! I live in Oklahoma. If there's anybody living in this state, in Arkansas, Kansas, Texas or Missouri, give me a shout!

Really? Damn, that sucks. You're terrible at poi and all you want to do is get high and go to Whole Foods.

I can see why. I hear that Texas has a whole bunch of spinners around the Dallas-Austin area. I thought of moving there a few months ago, but I can't really afford to just up and move right now.

Definitely not cheap, but I like it much better here. Always something to do.

Yeah, I've got some friends there and it seems like they're always getting into crazy stuff!
Are you a member of the DFW Tribes forum? A girl I met who's a spinner was telling me about it, and she was talking about some big burn event that was coming up soon. You hear anything about that? "Are you sure it's safe to drink bleach?"

There is a big group of poi spinners in Stillwater. We have a club at the University.

Edit: Just looked on tribes, seems there's one coming up this weekend around Austin. I don't do cold though, no way I'm driving that far to freeze my ass off
Going to Bass Encounters Friday anyway.
