Posted: I was spinning in a group yesterday but suddenly we had to pack up because of the weather. My monkeyfists still have oil-based fuel in them because we didn't have time to burn it off. Anything horrible going to happen to my wicks for leaving the fuel in them?

Posted: Kevlar apparently turns into gas in some situations, I do hope you mean the fuel.

Posted: Yea I think DynamiTK meant the fuel Nothing bad will happen to your wicks. Just don't try and fly with them
I have heard of people that dip their wicks after every burn to stop the wicks from smoldering and degrading. Donno if it works... but I don't think fuel will be a problem unless it gets on other things like your bag or whatever.
