Opps.......I did the bad thing as a newbie and I didnt use the template for all you nosy noses out there so here I sit editing my introduction.........my origional sin will be at the bottom........here goes
Name:Stephen......but you can call me Loki
Location:Torrington, Connecticut, USA...for the moment, I spontaniously travel alot
Hometown:again Torrington.....I'm here visiting family
D.O.B.:April 3, 1975.......man I'm getting old
Age:this seems redundant......I'm 30 if you couldn't do the math
Sex:male..... if you didn't guess by my name
Occupation:Jack of all trades master of none
Favorite food:mmmmmmmmm foooooood.......
Favorite colour: green wins and I was happy to see the recipie for green fire..... good to know for when I graduate to fire poi
Toys:hmmmm......PG, R, or XXX........not sure which to list
Hobbies other than the obvious: playing guitar and singing, juggling, devil sticks, playing with my wonderful dog, disc golf, hiking, camping,lots and lots of stuff.....
Education:one year of college then I stopped, but I plan to go back in the spring of 2007 to be a nurse......theres a big shortage and I want to help people
Favorite books: currently I'm reading Wired:the short life and fast times of John Belushi.....any thing put out by Crimethinc collective is great too.....I love books they are food for your brain
Favorite movies:to many to list but a few are: What the bleep do we know, Waking life, Natural born killers, Fight club, Happy Gilmore, Supertroopers..... I could go on and on.....but I wont
Favorite TV shows: Family guy, Lost, That 70's show, The Simpsons.....
Plans for life in general(i.e.what I want to do when I grow up):I dont ever want to grow up and if I do promise to shoot me
Favorite music artist/composer:far to many to list ....music is my life and there litterally isnt a single kind of music I dont enjoy
Favorite ice cream:I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream......anything with lots of chunks of yummy stuff in it
Now as far as the question which will dictate the course of the rest of my life.....NUTELLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe Nutella was created by the gods for the gods and we got lucky enough to get some too.....
Hi all.......I'm new here and I'm glad I found the home of poi to unroll my bedroll in and curl up on the floor for a bit ......I fell in love with poi after a fire dancer performed at my friends wedding and it invaded my entire being.....even my dreams.....so I made some sock poi and started to learn.....I aspire to fire.......I've juggled and done devil sticks for many years and I think I found my next great love in poi.....these are such great activities when your a traveler such as me..... it helps to pass time and sparks conversations with new people who are curious about what I'm doing.....I cant wait to get better and have my first burn......thanks for reading this and feel free to message me with any tips you might have for me to help me progress.....

Oh man..........today is going to be a best day ever canidate
I've got nothing to do and the weather is amazing for this time of year in New England. I mean there should be a few feet of snow on the ground but here it is, the beginning of March and not only is there no snow but its in the mid 60's outside and sunny!!!
So I have a day of poi in the park ahead of me and my dog 
then tonight I'm getting together with some long time friends for drinks and laughter.....like I said best day ever canidate.....could only be better if there was going to be a bonfire tonight but alas no fire..... I guess doing my first burn would make it better too but I'm still waiting for my skills to catch up with my passion

Hey....do you know any of the Portland to Portland transfers? It seems that alot of people in the last few years have moved from the one in Maine to the one in Oregon.....we might know some of the same people if you do.

Loki, I don't know about the Portland to Portland transferes, I haven't met any ... well not that I'm aware of.
Thank you SOOOOO much Nephtys. It's not going to get really warm but it is a nice cloudless day and it's absolutely fantastic outside. I really hope that you didn't get my weather, I wouldn't wish that stuff on my worst enemy, let alone a friend.
I got a life once, it was way to busy so I turned it in. Now I'm doing fun stuff like baking for my friends, spinning and dancing. I still have to work but I like this much better than I did having that life.

yeah a bit scary....like the fact that he has a head and arm growing out of his right shoulder and its smoking a cigarette....Whats scarier is the guy in the background with the giant soccer ball......what could he possibly do with a ball that size....I mean is his foot that big too?

When I want to do one I do the reply. There is a section titled "Instant UBB Code" which has a selection called "image". You do have to have a valid URL for it though.

Yeah I tried that and it just shows the url in my message not the pic
I even tried with a picture from my gallery but nothing *sigh*
I can get it to come up with a worded link but not the pic itself

okiies well you just pm'd me about that and I replied but now that I read properly I have just told you to do what you just did....(I think this might be a confusing post but stick with it I promise it might go somewhere)
your url thingo should look something like this
https://jasmine.wyrdweb.com/~narflet/gallery2/d/2119-2/DSCN0483.JPG
then you do the clicky clicky on the 'image' button and paste it in the box and it does it for you.
if you go to your gallery and right click the picture you want, select 'properties' a window will pop up and there is a line that says adress(URL): httpblablabla
thats the url you need..if you have got all that right, then I have no idea why it doesn't work..and you should ask a smart person.
