UVic Juggling club is putting on its 4th nearly annual festival and we are incredibly excited to host this fun mayhem for you! Victoria Juggling Festival 2009! This is for anyone interested in throwing, catching, spinning, bouncing or isolating anything and everything! We are excited to have some of the best from the west coast to represent juggling (and spinning!) at our festival and we wish to encourage everyone to come and teach and learn!
Our festival begins with a hula hoop workshop from the UVic hula hoop club! Be there at 5pm Friday (after the last-day-of-school-party in the Quad) and start learning! We will be running open juggling until the stage shows that night!
We need all fire performers who wish to spin to contact Dawn (dmonette@uvic.ca). We are having some difficulties with fire permits, but I believe the permit should be fine to get. I have spoken with the Saanich Fire Chief and he supports the show/jam. However, we do need to register performers to ensure they are aware of all saftey needs we have from you. The fire jam is Friday night at 10:30 on campus at the fountain. It follows our open stage, indoor renegade stage (anyone is free to perform there as well) in the David Lam Auditorium.
Open juggling and workshops all weekend long and we have a fabulous line up of acts on Saturday night at the Esquimalt Theater for you!

5pm: Meet & Greet in the MPR - hoop workshop!
6-8: Open Juggling/ Workshops
9pm: Renegade / Open Mic in the David Lam Auditorium
10:30pm: fire show! (pending)
Saturday:
MPR
10am: Open Juggling
Dance Studio
10am: workshops
6pm - close for dinner
7pm - Doors open for the show!
10pm - show ends
Meet back at MPR till 1am for more juggling!
Sunday:
11am - 5pm Open Juggling/ workshops
