Finally got around to writing all this out.... pretty self explanatory

You like the green tea? It's nice, except I've found the local BubbleBar makes it far too sweet. I've got a nice place that's amazingly cheap, and makes some really strong milk tea. I've just tried their "Wheat-Tea with Herbal Jelly"

So despite my initial loathing of Marmite, I caved and bought a whole jar of Sanitarium brand Marmite. And then, in a gesture of friendship towards the Marmite-aficionados of this thread, I ate some..

Now, if you can't tell behind the glasses, at this point I was experiencing a wide range of emotions. Yes, Marmite is disgusting. Yes, Marmite is the B-Grade version of Vegemite. Yes, it looks like creamed Iodine. However, it is also very more-ish. I decided I needed an impartial judge to once and for all judge between Marmite and Nutella.
Warning, acts of gratuitious cruelty appear below. Namely, trying to feed a ferret Marmite
Let me introduce Kesker, one of my ferrets. She's a very picky eater, a connoisseur, if you will. I duly presented both the Nutella and Marmite in an impartial manner...

However, Kesker refused to eat off the plate. Undaunted, though alittle taken aback (it was the good china she was snubbing) I scooped some Nutella onto my finger and dubbed it on her nose.

And she promptly took to slurping it off my finger. But would she do the same with the Marmite?

When I tried the same trick with the Marmite, she licked it off her nose, spat it out, and promptly ran. This photo was taken an instant before she jumped off the table. I expect that she's now traumatised, and will experience reoccurring nightmares about being chased by the enormous finger of Marmite
Conclusion: Nutella rocks (and you should never feed ferrets Marmite)
