did you know that you need 23 hugs a day to keep you happy and emotionally stable, i found it out today in my psychology class. aparently hugs give off hormones in your brain that make you feel happy, as emotional and close comfortable contact does this. i was absolutely amazed when i heard this, so i now send to everyone and i hope you will all hug back.
oh yeh, by the way, staff problem solved for the moment, one of my very good friends has lent me his until i get one (and also till his arm mends) very good friend.
please tell everyone aboput the hugging thing, you need 23 as a minimum!

Do you have to hug people, or can it be random objects...such as trees, lampposts, stray dogs etc...?

As a representative of the OHD (Oficial Hug Donors) I urge people everywhere to embrace this initiative, and hold it in high regard. If we grab this opportunity, we can squeeze every ounce of its' positive effects

it is nice to see such an erly response to the worl of hugs, its also nice to see the OHD becoming involved in the public front, i would also like to announce that the WHF (world hugging federation) would also like to take the chance to send hugs worldwide, please keep the hugs coming, the more you get the happier you are

Hugs are one of the few forms of currency you can only get more of by giving them away

YeaH I'd like to know if hugging in-animate objects counts too.. living by myself, well not quite true - I share my flat with an Eeyore.. I hug him lots - does that count - or does it have to be a real human bean??

When I first went to Japan, I found lack of touch strange. So our friends and I designated one of our friends to be one hand to give nice 'man' hugs on demand! Lovely! I met some lovely fluffy Japanese friends in Akita who gave great hugs also - yay!!

went out & tried the hug theory, got threatened by a p@ss head for hugging his girlfriend.(some people dont get it)could you please forward a public friendly set of rules for hugging random people without getting abuse, or is it safe to hug inanimate objects??
