Hi all!
This is my first post on home of poi, I am very much a beginner and have made my first set of poi from old tights and peanuts! I live in cardiff, but soon will be moving home to fife(scotland). My interests are quite varied, I love to dance, read, knit and weave. I also love animals and am a keen horse-rider. My fave colour is green and I'm a vegetarian. I am a herbalist, but also work in an organic farm and cafe to make those ends meet!

im sorry (im not too "genned up" on the weaving things) I did weave a really cool headband once, but my sister stole it.

Ok this "normal loom" is big and brown it has foot pedals, is about 4 feet across. It weaves things and goes under the codename "loomy" If you see it, do not approach it, it is armed and will not hesitate to turn you into a rug. The best thing you can do is contact the Local LOOMWATCH where they will deal with the situation quickly and effectively.

I must stress excl DO NOT APPROACH THE LOOM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES: REPEAT: DO NOT APPROCH OR YOU WILL SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE WELCOMING PEOPLE AT THE DOOR THEN HAVING THEM WIPE THIER FEET ON YOU!!! excl

BEST OF LUCK TO YOU ALL, BE BRAVE AND FEAR NO DARKNESS! GO FORTH! hug

Well Westy, every once in a while I have to put the poor thing in the shop and give it a tune up. I can get around with out it, you know. wink

ubblol And I thought my loom was bad, at least it doesn't turn you into a rug. Mine just takes hours and hours our of your life without you realizing it. There's just something about the rhythm and sound.
