Posted: pesonally i use a fuel flask used for hiking, it's red aluminium made by M.S.R. has all the relivent marking and holds about 3/4 of a liter and costs between £5 and £10
better than a polystyrene cup;)

Posted: i find the containers it comes in are pretty good for it, and metal flasks are good for soaking wicks in.
i also get the feeling this has been covered many times over on the help pages, where this thread belongs, thats what the help pages are for

you could try it but fitting a 1.5inch object into a 0.8inch hole is like trying to put a square object into a round hole
