I'm currently working on a project - a fictional rock band for a cartoon strip type thing.
I'm looking for peoples faces that I can base some drawings on.
Also, anyone who actually does play guitar/drums etc, post a pic or a link to a pic of you with your instrument, doing your thing.
Think of this as a fictional MTV type "making the band" competition type thing. Don't expect results straight away though, this will take weeks of hard work to accomplish.

These guys are my friends from back home, They certainly look rock and roll! I'm sure they wouldn't mind being personified in a cartoon strip (might be an idea to ask them, though...)

Or you could go for www.shmir.com it would certainly help to inflate their egos even bigger...if that's possible

when you say rock and roll, do you mean like darkeness rock and roll, like stadium rock. or rock and roll, like more modern music. like metal or screamo or something like that...?

When would you like me to peel it off? Just kidding, but use Photoshop to edit pictures of people, like, for example, replace a band members picture with yours if it is a group shot.

I used to play guitar in a metal band (now only my college band & a covers band) but I don't look very rock & roll, and I don't have many pictures of myself, so possibly not the best candidate. Got some pictures of the band onstage if you want em though, our drummer has the classic 'nutter' look

I need faces that currently are not in a band of some type.
theo_ - i was thinking skate/goth/metal type rock. but not to goth. Not marylin manson though. And not the darkness either. oh dear me, no!

Take a feature from any photo you see (including one's of yourself) and Voila!!

So do you need them in like a screaming pose or do you want them just normal face pics and you manipulate them or what? Do you want them to be sexy or grotesque? Do you want neck and torso or just face, do you want hair in too, does it matter??...whats the deal huh huh huh?

Hhmm...well I do play electric guitar and I suppose you could say I look punk/rock or whatever it is, my hair is black with a pink stripe and its sort of all over the place and spikey at the back (dodgy description)...hhmm....I may be able to try and dig up some pictures....but I'm not sure how many I have of me playing....
But I'll have a look for you any way as there seem to be lacking in those of the female gender
