you can do a bf weave with some inverted bits yep smile

you need to learn butterfly inversions. ill describe one and leave you to work out the rest.

start spinning wheel plane right arm crossed over left. right poi spins backwards left poi spins forewards. notice the hole made by your arms and body, put your right poi through this hole. aim to exit with your arms crossed left over right poi still spinning the same direction. the left arm stays totally stationary during this move, the left poi just spins forewards circles in the right outside wheel plane.

once you can do these with both arms you are ready to put them into a weave, which should be pretty self explanetory. also trying doing a search and good luck

They push+pull tactics are driving me loco
They shouldn't do that no no no

hehe... keep an eye on the poi goes punk series.. I've the same direction stuff, I'll be doing oppsite direction soon.. not this weekend but next weekend probably..

there's bits in the butterfly section of my practive vid too.. I know its hard to make out.. and you have to make sure you focus on the butterfly inversions (pretzel looking things) and not the splitthreads which flow MUCH nicer..

and yeah you could search too probably.. since there some clips of mine with socks last year..

technically.. the 5bt inverted butterfly weave is easier than the 3bt..

the reason being its easier to an inverted ttn that pushes outside than an inversion that pushes across.. and the 5bt (first degree) inversions pushes back outside, before going across..

the 3bt is awkward because it you can't really move the crossover point so that it doesnt realy have to antispin..

So I do ttn, then turn to one side to do a bf weave, and
then turn to the opposite side to bf weave there.

I return to the central ttn, then change poi directions,
reversing the bf and try the above side moves again.

Question is, am I doing anything I havn't done already?!?!?
