Hey my name is Sylvie and I'm from Brisneyland Australia. I'm currently studying psychology at Griffith University but since coming back from India two weeks ago I'm having serious second thoughts... This possibly extends from the life changing experiences that I picked up in the land of the Holy Cow where contrast and craziness reign supreme! Where else but in India is there a woman who hugs 1000s of people 24 hours a day? Or where 330 million gods are worshipped including an elephant headed god and a god of monkeys? Suffice to say, Western thought is looking a little drab...
But back to me, I've just started playing with my pois and unfortunately keep knocking myself out with these gorgeous little things
If anyone is interested I'd love to have a get together for a swing in a park - bbq, beer and pois? Sounds like a knockout combination!

You oughta come for moonfest on Saturday- you'll get to meet everyone all at once! Some of us are taking a train down or meeting at Shorncliffe to have a little bit of a picnic and play in the afternoon, and the evening's going to be spectacular

Yeah I'm really keen to come - I dont have any fire pois but thats ok becuase I'm not quite good enough yet to be dealing with ball of flame swinging in front of my face and hair (ahh not the hair!)

Excellent Sylvie- although.. I'm sure there'll be a couple of plaited people lol! Do look for HoPers though (first time Phaerie went she was so meek she sat in a corner all shy and all..lol. Negative example.. :P)! Follow the rainbow stripey socks
