Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

hope youre on the mend miss
so, i had a dream last night. i was sitting in my living room, watching tv with another 2 people, and it was soooo amazingly hot, we were sitting round in underpants, crashed out on the couch and still melting. it wouldve been about 40 - 45 degrees. then the doorbell rang. when i answered it, it was my grandma. she had a box of rice bubbles shed just pulled out of the fridge, and some icy cold milk. so she walked into the house to get me a bowl. then my grandpa walked in. before i knew it i was greeting even more family guests

*yawn* It's Monday morning and I know the rest of the Southern lights helpers are still probably on the site. I couldn't stay unfortunately as i had to be at work at 8:00am this morning

I had to/have to miss all the festy action I planned for this year. I am home and after 9 hours sleep sunday night and then crashing at 7pm last night and sleeping for 14 hours I feel almost alive again.

Right, I said to Mynci and LMSP, Cantus and chelle allready that it's my 30th this year and I haven't had a party for over a decade, so, I'm sending out this open invite now. It's the 19th October but perhaps the 20th and 21st might be better for a party as that's a weekend. I'd love to see Blu, Linden and others too
