Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

Blu - Pans Labyrinth is excellent (my opinion anyway) but it's better that you don't go in expecting a fantasty film with a war as a backdrop. It's more a war film interspersed with the fantasty sequences...

I know, I have been prepared, thank you Dave.I have also been made aware that it's in Spanish so I'll have to be ready to read... now if only people had been more forthcoming with info like that when Pirates of the Carribean 2 came out, I wouldn't have gotten so angry at being duped into watching half a film

I just find it hard to notice whats going on in picture while reading words. It's not snooty, a little patronizing maybe...
When reading words the images fade away. I have to watch things twice to get the bigger picture normally...

EVERYONE likes foreign film these days so I pretty much take it for granted...
To be honest I don't think you even need subtitles for this film. You can watch it without and still get the general gist of what's going on...
Believe me you WILL pay attention to the imagery!

finished building your present lois

Where do I start...nothing major, but practically every minor issue I was aware of ,or was aware could occour, has taken place and been given some gravity today, and then shoved in my face to wash away my armour of indifference to reveal the tired shaking mess I was trying so hard to conceal beneath...it's all just become a little bit more real. Damn my inclination to not deal with my issues when they arise. I'm not all weepy and pathetic...but I do fear that if one more thing goes wrong today I will just collapse in a heap and stew in my own filth until death, oh sweet merciful death, comes swiftly and urgently...What little hope I have is being shrowded in uncertainty and my pride, my damn pride isn't helping me much!
I'm not going to make much sense, I've gone all Lydia Deeds on myself again... oh dear...
