wave Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too.

Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.

Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing. biggrin

Thanks! I'm still at inkfish so the email will be the same, I'm just now a trainer instead of an account executive, biggrin , much better job!

I know, but I hadn't booked the saturday off as holiday and it appears there is some saturday work, theyre reasonable people so it shouldn't be a problem but I guess it depends on how long I have to learn the ropes. Will be discussing this week so will let you know by the weekend Mynci hug

Good things are happening all the time Mynci, you just have to focus on the end result being the one you want. Even if the journey there is not exactly what you had planned, it still ultimately goes your way. wink Lots of stuff like that has been happening to me, it's slightly spooky, but pleases me muchly biggrin

Have entered into negotiations about the Southern lights weekend and it seems I may be able to wangle it if I work the friday as it's quite an important learning day for me to miss. So I may just turn up a day later than inteded...I hope that doesn't mess too much with your amazingly organised work roster Mynci boy?

I should be able to. I reckon I can leave here around 4ish so should get there around 7ish. That leaves enough time to set the tent up and stuff before the gate shift starts biggrin

Argh, dammit dammit F*£k s*$&t c"*t!!! I'm not going to make it to southern lights after all. ubbcrying The dude I'm taking over from is only going to be there for the friday, saturday and monday to do the handover and I need to be there for the full days as it's a completely new job role and I'm going to battle as it is ubbcrying . I've been told that they will honour the holiday but then there is no handover period and I wont have a clue what to do. I've been STRONGLY advised to be here on those days as they are crucial. I've wanted this job for so long it would be a bad move for me to start off on the wrong foot.

I'm so sorry Mynci, I hope I havent let you down too much. ubbcrying hug

On top of that, that means I wont get to see anyone this year apart from those I saw at firegathering ubbcrying

Although I understand why you were unable to come hug bubbles came but had to go on the saturday morning so she only saw our show. I will send you a copy of our show on DVD as it was filmed with a big old camera (16 / 32mm I believe) so you can feel like you were front row centre grouphug

Thank you Mynci hug smile

Not much going down in my world. Still recovering from a nasty cold. Hopefully camping just outside of Brighton this weekend, but I'm only going if I feel well enough as at the moment I probably dont. Every muscle in my body aches and I'm very very tired. Plus I have a headache that wont shift and my tummy hurts every time I eat something so I'm hungry a lot too.

The one festival I was looking forward to in September (Bestival), is now not going to be as much fun as Ben has to work so he can't come...maybe I should just give up on festivals this year frown

Lovebox in London next month though, hopefully that will be good. smile

You wouldn't believe it Mynci, but we actually drove past holton Lee on our way to the wedding which wasn't that much further. Twas at Ringstead bay. V pretty but very very windy. I went to bed by midnight! HOURS before everyone else! Not like me at all! ubblol

Saw the cuban brothers thing, looking good Mynci boy! biggrin Think you should go see a doc about your throat though, rather be safe than sorry with something that hurts for a long period of time.

Hey Dougie! Hope to see you at some point over the summer, though I wont be doing any more spinny events this year frown Hope that you are happy and healthy my lovely! hug kiss

Not happy to be back at work today after a lovely weekend, am felling very very sleepy although I don't know why, I slept loads!

There is a possibility that I will be going to Zambia for Christmas though, so that may be nice ( and very very hot!). Need to talk it over with Ben first though, as I want him to come with. But looking forward to it already smile
