ok, well after a while of contemplating ive decided to do my very own intro thread 
whoo!kk so info bout me...... well im jenna or jen (one of many ive found), 20 and living in halls at bolton uni which i love!
doing psychology BSc which is cool and hopefully i want to go into maybe, the police, criminology. find all that type of stuff interesting and the dirty gritty side of life doesnt bother me.
when i finish uni i want to do some traveling whoo! thinking of going maybe whistler for a season as a snowboard instructor as well as france (les arcs looks cool). been boarding for nearly 5 years and love it! but never been on a boarding hol
wanna go south africa to visit family as well as scotland. also want to spend time in spain, canada and aus.i love my music, got loadsa stuff cause i used to do a bit of DJin at one point. fav band is korn but i love a lot of the none mainstream stuff, as well as a lot of older stuff.
films too are great! i love 80s fantasy like willow etc, and books too are great
(god i sound like i love everything).currently reading Raymond E. Feist's magician series.
in ten years time i hope to have my own house with a room filled with films, books and music
better chill b4 this gets too long hehehe, got into poi trough teejay_blue and loki and been goin to the manc meets ever since, cant wait for falmouth

you guys ever feel like there should be more sometimes? this is me and one of my reflective moods again. (so if you bore easily stop reading noe lol)
i swear they are not good 'cause they can change your mood so fast from amazingly happy to just cant be arsed. never said anything like this online before lol, but i feel now i can share my experiences with you lot
ok, its freshers, lots of new peeps to meet, say hi to and start the new year. got everyone from last year, loads of peeps ive missed, but there was us, but as a ne group, with new people and new things, like the way things are have changed, which i see as good and bad. but at the moment there are or were those who i still havent 'sorted' things with yet, so its weird seeing them with others if that makes sense. also, i feel as if im selfish because i want more from this, i want to meet a decent good friend who is there no matter what and always puts the effort in and i can easily speak to about anything, ive had them in the past and theyve always backfired on me for lack of a better term. i have some excellent friends here at uni, and so asking for more does seem like im being silly, but its like theres something there i need/that im missing, and me being a psychology buff im trying to work myself out, which actually ive been doing for the past few years and its not helping at all. ive learnt a lot in this year thanx to you lot because youve all been amazing!
but ive also been through a lot. hmmm i dunno what im trying to say but i suppose that the whole point of this rant, i dont know right now, meh im just confusing myself let alone you lot. mim not sad or depressed lol thats all good, if anything im having the most amazng time of my life and i can say now i am truely happy (with a lack of certain aspects, like a decent chap lol) theres just so much happening and so many opportunitys which make me feel glad that i get all this. but still, theres somethign i cant put my finger on.... ok seriously gonna stop typing now, if anyone know whats going on in my head then please lemme know
theres plently more gping on in it at the mo but i really cant be bothered typing anymore, plus its not really fair to just put it all on heree anyways lolhmmm ok, going now

My, aren't we reflective...? I think it is natural to believe there is always something more, it is one of our driving motivators... I think one day, you just learn to live with the feeling, comforted by knowing that on the whole you are happy!
Right, now we have done that bit... dunno if you picked up that I have got a work evening do on the 8th October, which is the Sat night.. Elaine suggested just going down for Sunday which I might do... Think once we all meet this Saturday, we can work out what to do!!

I know how you feel, uni is always wierd when you go back after a long break and its normal to feel that there is something missing. I'm sure once you get back into the swing of things it will be better
I'm halfway through a psychology degree too (I'm taking a break from it this year) and i've also found that it really doesn't help all that much when you're trying to work out whats going on in your head! I think thats why psychology is so interesting, nothing is simple or easy to understand and everyone is so very different!

didnt know u did psy star, ive always been the thinking type anyways so psychology just makes the world that lil bit crazyier
tired now though, goin out later but been trying to sort all the stuff for the freshers fair next week for the snowsports club which ive started, and now im thinking it gonna be a lot of work but its worth it
and got some great quotes through for holidays, means i get to go away on a boarding hol for free

Jen, I feel like that all the time - well, when I'm not sat in a field with some truly talented and lovely people :heavysigh: I think they call it the human condition, but I sure as hell haven't found the answer to it or like it anymore now than i did when I was a pre-pubescent teenager and felt out of place, out of time and out of luck - I still feel like that most of the time.
