did you wnat short sticks or staffs or what?

can we have some more info on the t-shirts please?

also on the sunday for the timetable, what will be in the THuuuuumbs class?

also how uber techie will the contact be

can we have a more detailed lesson plan, its rather hard to decide what classes you wnat to do when you have no idea whats in them

will there be a show by each person at the end of the day to show what they have leared?

would that be possible, so you have positive re-enforcment of the days learning?

f*ck! that's a lot of questions mech ubblol

just for a laugh and because work is boring me this morning (as your obviously is too smile), i'm going to innaccurately answer them all for you:

up to nate but i'd say 1.2m to 1.4m; they will be t-shaped and have something printed on them - either you want one or ya don't; thumbs - weird contact technique where you use your thumb to lock the staff to the back of your hands; uber - that is to say, very; no - if you can't work out what's in them from the titles you need a smack upside the head; maybe, but if there is, i don't want to do that bit.

i love guessing tongue

got a card and a soft case in the post for me camera dude - hopefully have in time for falmouth... biggrin

well cole id say those are pretty good answers, but prob better that i wait from the ones from rob...

im not going falmouth cole, so what i would like you to do is get a staff, or a club and do what you did on saturday night and take loads of pictures of teh falems to get used to taking pictures with different exposures

dont forget you can get some hot shots with fast exposures just as you can with long ones!

Here Rob, I feel badly that Mech is bogging you down with questions that can't possibly matter so I've taken the time to answer them.

Written by: mech

did you wnat short sticks or staffs or what?
A: Staffs are prefered

can we have some more info on the t-shirts please?
A: Bring a Sharpie and a blank white T shirt and you will leave with a customized Uberstaff TShirt signed by Rob or someone signing Robs Name.

also on the sunday for the timetable, what will be in the THuuuuumbs class?
A: Staff moves involving thumbs. Dumbass.

also how uber techie will the contact be
A: Start at notso ubertechie but there will be some ubertechie stuff thrown in for those who can handle it.

can we have a more detailed lesson plan, its rather hard to decide what classes you wnat to do when you have no idea whats in them
A: It appears to me that the weekend is designed so that everone can take all the classes. The classes are at different times. Why would you miss any classes? And if you do plan on missing some, can't you just decide at that particular moment?

will there be a show by each person at the end of the day to show what they have leared?
A: No.

would that be possible, so you have positive re-enforcment of the days learning?
A: No.

If you have any questions that can easily be asked the day of the workshop such as "Where will the bathroom be located?" or "Which way should I face when the lesson begins" might I suggest holding them until the appropriate time.

wink

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

however, i notice that our answers conflict umm

please correct yours so they match the level of inaccuracy of mine and are at least as vague.

that was not a question.

it was possibly a request.

or most likely, a polite order.

its a small ask since you completely plagerised my post in the first place.

although you did add the original slant of failing to recognise that the first question wasn't even directed at rob.

well done.

wink

No, I mean like a movie of the "incredibly interesting moving of a rebel base to a new planet movie" or the "I built myself an artificial hand in five easy steps" movie.

That kind of I'll just add a new movie in between those two? I don't think it's ever been done, but I would like to think it already has a word. Like interquel... or intraquel

Legit questions maybe dude, but at the end of the day the weekend will be what you/me make it regardless of all the hardcore staffage going on, you want to play with other toys im sure you can, after all you learn at you own rate and your paying remember so you can do "without causing too much disruption to the rest of the class" pretty much what you want smile

and whats all this your a "tw@" eek, if only you had told me sooner, i wouldnt have bothered going on that course, i could have got tips from you instead wink

the questions are down to holding two workshops at the same time

to make an informed choise about which workshopto take, you must first knwo more infmation about them other than the name of them, or you might regret taking teh class

i knwo the weekend will be amazing, more over the company and teh teachers than teh lessons

what i meant by other toys, there is a wealth of information in one room and if you have a burning question or a move you need to understand then would it be ok to ask someone about that toy....

basically, day one everybody gets everything, the teachers are rotated, so you'll get time with all of them

So
- it's not all finalised yet
- you'll know in plenty of time (to run out of one workshop into the next screaming "God no! Not my thuuuuuuuuumbs!")

eek this *proves* you are a bad guy!

mech is the lex luther of hop!!!

get him!!!!! mad

not trying to make you the bad guy at all dude.
we were just (humourously) pointing out that possibly some of your questions seemed a little bit surplus to requirements.

- can you put that into an excel spread sheet for downloading please?
- can i bring my flag staffs?
- can we have some more info on the t-shirts please?
- will there be a show by each person at the end of the day to show what they have leared?

if you'd said "i can't decide if i want to do workshop a or b because they are on at the same time. will we get any more details before the day?" we probably wouldn't have been so facetious.

11 isolations(mo) OR doubles movement(knox)

12 tricky throws (antti) OR ubertechy contact(me)

13 lunch, play, using the kitty litter tray

14 presentation (knox) OR partner throws (antti+tommi)

15 ¾ staff stuff(a+t) OR thuuuumbs(the approving ninja)

the either/or options tend to be rather different options.
e.g. throw vs contact
So I imagine this is intended to cater for the variety of styles people tend to favour. I am guessing that you're prolly someone who wants to know everything... or doesn't want to miss out (I would then suggest pestering the teachers in the breaks mentioned, somewhere else). Or talk to people who went to the other options... and force them to befriend you and teach you what they have learnt tongue

Also with regard to HOW ubertechy/tricky/whatever-y... I'd imagine, as NYC suggests, a range... but judging by the list of teachers there... they'll have something to challenge you in whatever your choice/ability.
