I'm spoiled...I've had air conditioner my whole life...
And...ummm...float around in the pool during the summer on a raft to get sun...
But I *am* careful not to get burned...I usually don't...even without sunscreen...just my skin tone, I guess.
I *love* being out in the sun...and don't really mind the heat...I hate the COLD!!!

Brrrrrr....my water pipes froze last night cause it got down into the lower 20's.....(ummm.....that's F)...and I forgot to plug up the heat tape...
Good thing that I keep a good supply of fresh water stashed in the cupboard.....If I had not been able to have my coffee I would not have been a very happy camper at all!!!

brissie... it's been warm, but never uncomfortably so, today... 19-27C... 66-80F for those of you that still live in the past... wink

as for air-con... I had it in the last place I rented... over the xmas period, I had it going pretty much non-stop, cos I was working from home and my pc kept overheating (REALLY HOT summer)... and it doubled my electricity bill... frown

Hi Crowley... wave hug

I really hate the sound of this brass bra...please leave any brass underwear you may own at the door. Well..next to the door I don't want guests tripping over it on there way through the door.
*nails a "no brass underwear" sign on the door*

minus anything degrees is too cold..I don't think I'd be able to keep warm with all the clothes in my cupboard on me...although there really isn't much in there so that doesn't surprise me.

hug me!

my jeans got washed yesterday... I didn`t mean for it to happen, but I left them... actually, I honestly don`t know where I left them, but my mum must`ve found em somewhere, cos they were hanging on the clothesline, all clean and crispy like, yesterday arvo...

don`t you just hate crispy jeans? they won`t feel right till they`ve de-crisped now... rolleyes

Eeeeek...that's why I love a clothes dryer...everthing comes out all nice and soft and is soooooo lovely when it's cold and you can put on nice warm clothes just out of the dryer...you just have to be very careful with jeans cause the little metal rivets on them can turn into brands...owwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!

haha bek I remember once getting up for school and realising my jeans were still wet and throwing them in the dryer (which we never use) and learning the hot button and rivet things the ouchie way. Actually I may have done that a few times...and never learnt.

frown And my dryer just died this week so I've gotta get another one...been having to haul my clothes over to my parents house to dry...just never have put up a clothes line here, yet...and only been living here for nine years... redface

Good thing is...I have a friend that owns a used appliance shop which is where I got my washer and dryer from in the first place...so I should be able to get another dryer for a pretty good price...so I know what I'm gonna be getting for the holiday. rolleyes

Pat, hun...if your jeans are falling off then I'd say that you maybe need a different size...or you need to be here so that I can help them fall off!!! wink

bek: a human belt, hmmm? I wonder if that`ll catch on...? as for the size... well, I hope not... cos every pair of pants I own are the same size; have been the same size since high school, so I`d get very confused having to change it now.
confused

maybe I should just chuck em all away and wear nothing but fisherman pants and sarongs? biggrin

I am *NOT* walking through that maze of predominantly south-sea islander telemarketers wearing nothing but a sarong... eek

biggrin I'm actually back to the same size that I was in high school...a size 3 in jeans...was in a zero for years...now that I've stopped smoking I've actually been able to put some weight back on and look much more healthy...or so I've been told by Brandi...she said that I was too thin before and looked sick... eek ...kinda freaked me out a bit.

Hmmmm...the fisherman pants and sarongs sound like a fab idea...or you could just go nekkid!!! I wouldn't mind!!! wink
