top o' the morning wales based poiple! this is the thread for all things wales based, although the crew is mostly based in the land of taff currently with a sizeable offshoot in the land of tawe, please talk about funky things all over cymru in this thread!!
so, for the uninitiated, here is an exciting list of regular poi activities for the wales based....
Cardiff/Caerdydd:
Thursday nights, 8-10pm, come along to Ebenezer Church (Charles Street, around the back of Burger King and Next) for nofitstate circus' community juggling club, for poi and all sorts of other exciting juggle arts. It's just £2.
Little Devil's Circus coming soon... contact pitman for further details or keep an eye on this thread
on sunny evenings/days, Roath Park (Rec. or flower garden) you may well find a NOn spinning... it might also not be a NOn, or even a HoP person at all, but if you see someone there spinning, you may as well say hello...
at other unspecified times, there may be other meets, check the most recent posts in this thread for specific details...
Juggling Shops
Cardiff Games, Duke St Arcade: although not exclusively a juggling shop, they stock some poi, juggling balls and rings, plus occasional other sorts of toys... oh and the guy who owns it does poi too!

If my fire poi arrive soon enough, I'll be on the beach near the shooting range at Penally (which is, of course, near Tenby) on random evenings between the 22nd July and 5th (ish) August.
If they don't I'll be on the beach now and then spinning ribbon poi in the daytime.

Any spinners or spectators who happen upon me are welcome to join!

if anyone knows of a pub in cardiff that has a big enough outside area that we could spin in we should go there and have a few
at some point on sunday. just an idea tho.
gizmo - i made some new sock poi with 100g in the ends and 50g for the handles. ive been practicing for the ultimate wibble passing circle and i got a couple of good throws down. thanks for the tips.

yeah the meet was good i was doing some fire breathing which was cool oh yeah everyone i tyold my girlfriend and as i though she battered me for it.
sage can u make my a icon with the video then please but its deff something im gunna keep doing i have just ordered my fire breathing torch which should be here soon. i will be better for the next meet.
and we have to play fire dohnut again we need some kevlar rope.
so yeah u got warning nat so u have to make the next meet plus u get to have breakfast at gums (f**k tiffiny's).
any ways i got to get back to work talk to you guys soon.

we weren't throwing it at each other (besides ryan but he says that was an accident) we were kinda passing it to each other. not the safest or smartest idea but it was quite fun.
