To be completely biased, I stopped watching music videos in 1992, around the same time that game shows, fashion reviews and other superflourous BS overtook the programming on MTV. Up until then, it was probably a tie between Tool's "Sober" or RunDMC's version of "Walk This Way." One for artistry and imagery, the other 'cause it's just funny/cool. (Special Mention to Genesis for "Land of Confusion.")

Dance like it hurts; Love like you need money; Work like someone is watching.

Never criticize someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes. That way, when you DO criticize them, you are a mile away, and you have their shoes.

windowlicker is a close second.

lightbug, windowlicker is the one with the women in bikinis with richard d. james' face on them. and I think it was directed by chris cunningham.

Hardset head is a really good tune to spin to.

Now I'm more awake (the other post I made in this thread was made just after I got back from reading, but before I had some sleep ), I'll add a couple more -

Daft Punk - Around the World - It's got fantastic choreography and apparently only took 1 day to get it all done.

Weezer - Buddy Holly - Everyone loves The Fonz right?

Supergrass - Mary - It's really disturbing, so much so that it was banned on daytime tv, but it's also really, really cool.

Lenny Kravitz - Are You Gonna Go My Way? - Pretty simple video of him playing the song, but it's one of the best like that I've seen.

Basement Jaxx - Where's your head at - monkies with human faces playing instruments then going mental, what more can you ask for?

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

That had some really good songs.
Around the world was a cool one. It was one like you thought it was stupid the first time you saw it, but then you were like....aw, this is cool.
Well.....i did, but i like a little punk like,
Green Day before it hiy mainestream, and Screeaching Weasels. can't spell that for some reason.
some newer bands are cool to like
New found glory,and Trust company,and
System Of a Down......

system of the down rawks it. and i agree shinova old green day is the best. 1039 smoothed out slappy hours is ther best work. i listen to that album still. i bet you are a skateboarder or used to be. it seems like only skaters even know about the old greenday albums before they were mainstream.

Ray, Chris Isac (or some spelling close to that) did Wicked Game. Very sexy video.

I enjoy music and videos way too much to choose favorites however a couple of them that I enjoy are:

Korn: Freak on a Leash...very Heavy Metal-ish

__ Vegas: Days Go By...I loved the story of it and forgot what the word before Vegas in the name is!

Van Hagar: Right Now...I liked reading it.

Lisa Angelle (Country): I Wear Your Love...I love watching my male friends watch this video! Even I admit the woman is damn sexy in it!
