hello and thanks to everyone who posted. a few replies ...

ifrit: what do you want to know?

vixen: i did have a wicked weekend thanks and all the more so
for you being there. oh, and yes, i like kissing kiss.

skulduggery: not yet. i think i'm going to replace the
skateboard with a bed of nails on wheels. but when i've made
that i'm going to put spikes with flames on the wheels which
will be the perfect finishing touch.

valura: cheers.

pupilof2bags: life is good thanks. but if you're going to start
spinning more poi than me then i think it's time to change your
name. i'd suggest "millertime".

pyrowill: don't try and pretend that you didn't attempt the "orange
juice experience" as soon as you got home smile. my only regret is that
it didn't work. but i'll practice it so i can do it properly next
time i see you.

durbs: it was great to meet you too. i hope to see you again in
guildford sometime soon. if less is more, surely the best number of
poi to spin would be zero? confused

Do you like the colour pink? ubbangel tongue

Yay glad you took my recommendation of starting an intro thread ubbangel

Was great meeting you on the weekend. Although the Orange juice was a bit squeemish. Well wasn't really the actual Orange Juice bit, more of the licking of the straw afterward.

Thanks for keeping me entertained Sat night with the videos... although i seriously thought that there would be some poi interrupting that Avril Lavigne(sp?) video... esspecially when it was upside down.

argh. i somehow managed to cause a huge fight in the 8 poi thread. how did that happen? oh yes, i remember, my overly antagonistic reply to a needless critical and pointless post. should i have posted or should i have ignored it? i think perhaps i should have ignored it. oh well. i'll know for next time.

a few more replies ... gosh, posting an introductory thread involves a lot of work.

durbs: i've actually been working on zero poi a lot recently. i call it club juggling.

ben-ja-men: i'll teabag you're orange juice anytime. but i think you'll find you still owe me money for the original bet regarding the straw and my nose. oh, and also for the toothpaste lynx. cheques should be made payable to 2bags.

strugz: downloaded your ireland video last week. it was the prettiest twirling video i've ever seen. amazing visuals and nice to see you putting yourself in the video for a change.

in fact here would be a good place to thank everyone that helped me make my col5 entry. i couldn't have made it without the help and inspiration of the southampton university circus society www.soton.ac.uk/~juggling/ and www.soton-firespinning.co.uk. special thanks go to helen, strugz and greenmilk for helping to video some of it and to puresock and lydia for handing my things when i needed them. cheers guys.

parafinfairy: no worries. i look forward to seeing you in guildford sometime soon.

mint sauce: yeah, the drive through sheffield was an experience. next year we'll have to do it again and see if we can follow the exact same route.

pink...?: well yes, actually, i do quite like the colour pink. you have to lick the straw else there might me bits on there which your audience wouldn't enjoy seeing. and avril's videos are fantastic enough without poi, but i agree, maybe she should consider putting some poi in her next video.

brodieman_X: 'twas nice to meet you too. on the plus side the swelling in my nose has started to go down. but on the down side it only started to go down after my nose had departed company from my face. oh well. now someone has to ask: but if you don't have a nose how will you smell?

samuel: hmm? what orange juice thing?

puresock: puresock! hi. your poi-ing was looking crazy good last night. i expect you to teach me things next week.

duballstar: hey there. nice to meet you too and thank you very much. are you going to london?

pupil of teabags: hi. yes it was a wonderfully pleasant evening. i very much enjoyed our poi passing. i think we've layed the foundation there for a style of poi that will one day change the world. or maybe not. and when did you say we were going to have children?

pupil of pupil of teabags: i can't believe i actually agreed to that. i tried it today and it's incredibly difficult. i guess i'll just have to not bring anything expensive with me to london. please note that my car does not count as a toy.
