wot wud happen if skin wasnt waterproof?

Skin is waterproof? I thought it was the layers under the skin that are waterproof? Otherwise howd you get wrinkly fingers in the bath?

Why what's wrong with her? I'm sure she's a wonderful woman. Just because someone is old it doesn't mean that they're not a worthwhile member of society.
