Toyer, it takes so long cos the busses are crap ubbangel Nah, they're rural busses, go thru all the little villages.. Diss to ipswich shouldn't be so bad. You can get the train from Diss tho, takes 25 minutes biggrin

Come along.. We can teach you stuff! smile

Eh sorry smile In that case, it's bad cos the roads are bad. I assume you take the A140 down to the A14, then across.. 2 sides of a triangle. Or there's that piddly road across the middle - i forget, but it goes past Stonham - it takes a while tho.

You could catch a bus into the town centre and walk from there, there is a park entrance at the bottom of Fonnereau road which is only 30seconds walk from the bus station. Granted the fire is usually over the top of the hill, but you get the full experience that way (fighting your way through crowds of ppl wink)

We could always meet up at one of the gates? I'll either be walking through from Wherstead Road, or getting my mum to drop me off in town (probably walking)..

I think I'll be there for most of the day (may as well look round the town as I don't know Ipswich at all) so crowd fighting shouldn't be a problem smile

Seeing as both bobin-lady and meep seem to know Ipswich, i'll leave it up to you two!

Right - back to the Poi (aka socks and juggling balls!)

you have a point, i've learned a lot from a book
what a nightmare, its so much easier to learn it of people - you can get them to do the moves slowly and tell you where youre going wrong!

broke my glo poi at the weekend too frown
not my weekend!!

I learnt from a book also. I don't mind that actually, a lot of the time i find it simpler, but it is good to learn from other people also smile

From a book? What book was it? Either its' a very good book, or I’m stupid as I can't seem to learn from the web/videos!

It was Michal Khan's "poi spinning" (i think! - Yellow book). Tis a very good book, but you're not stupid if you can't learn from them, it's just different ways of learning. My mate can't learn from books either, she needs me to teach her - or other classes smile
