Hello wave

Name: Molly (or Caro in a different world)

Age: 24, but it's my silver jubilee soon smile

Location: Lovely Edinburgh, oh it says that over there... But born and bred a Londoner.

Occupation: PhD student (entymology and bacteriology - ie. mash flies and see what's going on in their bellies. mmmm.) Oh, and part-time Queen.

Toys: BLUEBELL the most gorgeous blue blue tech ubblove Tulip my beautiful contact stick, poi and a sadly neglected devilstick. I think it had angel sticks with it somewhere (firey handsticks as well as a firey devilstick) but haven't played with them for so long.... and of course, young molly mole, who aspires to great juggling prowess, but is hampered by the shortness of her paws and the complete absence of the ability to hold anything with just one paw. She is the little furry blur that is my avatar, in her christmas incarnation as the mole of war.

Hobbies: Beltane Fire Society, the slack hippy calendar of my life. Dancing, most especially swing. contact girl is the way forward, if only I could get round the friction burns. Gardening, herbs and vegetables mostly. There's only so much you can do with a daffodil. Sewing stuff, costumery especially. Camping, brewing, jam and CAKE ubblove

Favourite colour (before anyone asks... you know who you are):

blue but yes pink is fine and dandy, it even tried to take over my world for a week in August when my little niece was born smile

um, that'll do I think...

oh one more thing,

I had the immense pleasure of meeting quite a few HoP-folk round and about this summer and if they are anything to go by, you are all beautiful lovely people hug

what a fabby place ubblove

now, tea and cake all round and cushions aplenty

Hello there newbie and welcome to HoP!

I'm sure you'll find HoPers to be warm and welcoming, some warmer and more welcoming than others.

Please tell us more about yourself so that we can get to know you better such as....

1) How was your summer?
2) What's your favorite American city?
3) How do you feel about the color green for carpeting?
4) What's your favorite thing to do on a Saturday morning?
5) What are the positive ions that associate with DNA to compensate for it's partial negative charge?
6) What's wrong with Meg and can anything be done to contain the problem?
7) How can Bluecat be so talented and so slack at the same time?
8) How can you cope with being so cute and so smart while there are so many ugly, stupid people in the world?

And finally,

9) Can I keep the pair of socks that I accidentally stole from you?

I hope you enjoy your stay at HoP. Perhaps someday I'll make it out to Edinburgh and meet you all. ubblove

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

and you think I ask a lot of questions rolleyes

1) lufferly thank you, in a most unexpected way biggrin ubblove I spent all my holidays juggling.

2) having never crossed the atlantic I'd have to say New York. Well my jumper says NYC anyhow... wink

3) I feel strongly that the word you were wanting was COLOUR (grr) and green? um, soft, fluffy and inflatable? sounds more like bedding to me...

4) saturday mornings - not be asleep whilst other people are. watch scooby doo, drink tea and have other people make me breakfast in bed smile

5) stop that. didn't your mother ever call you back?

6)Meg, she has problems. They are largely follicular, but I am encouraging her to shave her head...

hug love you really moppet.

7) Bluecat manages such record breaking feats of slackness but remains so talented because he has a diligent version of an evil twin kept locked up in his flat. Yeah right those boxes were for keeping hats in umm Twincat practices all day whilst rob slacks about but is let out for special occasions. He may have to kill me now I have revealed his terrible secret. After I fed him Angel Delight and everything frown

8)redface that's not a proper question.

9) The socks that were costumery leftovers and make it look like you've mugged a schoolgirl for her footwear? yes, go for it. I have but one of your socks. It will be kept in solitary confinement for crimes that it did not commit.

It would be lovely to meet you one day NYC, you just sound so damn cool ubblove

silly boy kiss hug

oh and ado-p, blue cheese? you are inspired! hug

hello lovely,

>enters thread with customary greeting of throwing around trifle and chocolate spread (but not the kind Meg eats footinmouth and covering everyone, but offering graciously to lick it off again, how kind<

I'll never give up my love for red, but I do have a new found respect for blue, though not as an emotion ubbcrying

Actually I was thinking of you today Moll, I was walking past a meadow near my folks' in Surrey and saw loads of ripe blackberries - made me thinking of making jam and scones and of course your wealth of rasperries (fruit of the Gods in my opinion)

So qus.:

1. A meg inspired qu - A pook is to Tepooka as a slack is to...?
2. How are the handstands coming
3. What's your favourite jam?
4. how many fingers am I holding up?
5. What's the first thing I should make to eat when I get to my new flat in Graz?
6. And how should I eat it... face in dish, using only my sharp wit and spoon-shaped cunning?? These questions plague me daily.

sigh

Love you lots sweetheart bounce2 bounce wave hug ubbrollsmile

(I'm even wearing my yellow T-shirt this morning, though I never found my Artist one again frown )

I didn't realise this woudl turn into a pop quiz. I dread to think the questions meg will ask... eek

ok, here goes:

1) A pook is to te POOKa as a slack is to a slack rope. It makes everything harder and is sloppily idle, but it just wouldn't be the same any other way.

2) Handstands are suffering due to lack of clear space in my house and not being brave enough to try them elsewhere yet. Are they supposed to make your jaw feel like it's falling off, or was I doing something very odd in my state of distraction?

3)Bramble jelly (which is jam really thankyouverymuch NYC)

4) One because you is vulgar tongue

5) Pancakes with nutella and whipped cream AND orange-flower syrup (I'll send you a recipe for that)

6) But you must eat them with you toes (cutlery optional).

did I pass Miss?

do I get a lolly?

lovely to 'see' you

:biglick: for your chocolatey nose (and belly?)

ps. am maybe possibly considering brizzling for the last weekend. Need convincing though... umm

You passed provisionally my dear, I give you 5 points, but I'm afraid you need 8 points for a lolly. However, you can gain said points by coming to the Brizzle! Why you would need convincing I have no idea?! confused

But here goes:
Bristol and it's surrounding area are beautiful
I'm gonna be there and it is my last week before jetting off to Austria for a year bye
There will be lots of spinners there that last weekend - a mini EJC reunion in a way! biggrin
I'll bring jam and nutella and cake!
You'll have a fun road trip with Rob and Meg (plus other Pooks??)
I can help you do a handstand
If you don't come God will kill a kitten
I came to see you in Edinburgh, it's your turn!

well, I'd love to see you there, but I'm sure you'll make your own mind up.
love and jam
