Name: Molly (or Caro in a different world)
Age: 24, but it's my silver jubilee soon
Location: Lovely Edinburgh, oh it says that over there... But born and bred a Londoner.
Occupation: PhD student (entymology and bacteriology - ie. mash flies and see what's going on in their bellies. mmmm.) Oh, and part-time Queen.
Toys: BLUEBELL the most gorgeous blue blue tech
Tulip my beautiful contact stick, poi and a sadly neglected devilstick. I think it had angel sticks with it somewhere (firey handsticks as well as a firey devilstick) but haven't played with them for so long.... and of course, young molly mole, who aspires to great juggling prowess, but is hampered by the shortness of her paws and the complete absence of the ability to hold anything with just one paw. She is the little furry blur that is my avatar, in her christmas incarnation as the mole of war.
Hobbies: Beltane Fire Society, the slack hippy calendar of my life. Dancing, most especially swing. contact girl is the way forward, if only I could get round the friction burns. Gardening, herbs and vegetables mostly. There's only so much you can do with a daffodil. Sewing stuff, costumery especially. Camping, brewing, jam and CAKE
Favourite colour (before anyone asks... you know who you are):
blue but yes pink is fine and dandy, it even tried to take over my world for a week in August when my little niece was born
um, that'll do I think...
oh one more thing,
I had the immense pleasure of meeting quite a few HoP-folk round and about this summer and if they are anything to go by, you are all beautiful lovely people
what a fabby place
now, tea and cake all round and cushions aplenty

that is NOT cute! I knew there was some instinctive reason that I fight with duvets at the least provocation.
I'm taking the bee hoop to juggling this evening. It's going to give Rob some furry love and be generally pawed by the jugglers I expect

Yay - NYC has the patience of a saint and has finally managed to get the intermanet to work on my laptop
Skully, I'm so glad your parcel got there. The dragon is in fact German and very fond of beer but I'm sure he wont' mind being Welsh too He needs a firebreathing warning sewn to his bottom though.

I learned to crochet today. Well I learned the simple starting stitches and I managed to make a juggling ball following some instructions put up on here by OWD. I've run out of crochet friendly wool now. I just have sparkley tinsel-like wool, some fluffy pink stuff and one that has loads of little bits strung along it that when knitted up looks like an ostritch with bits stuck in its feathers. None of it wants to let me crochet it. It gets all grumpy and stubborn, so I gave up. I'll have to go and raid the wool shop on saturday.
So you come back to the lovely UK on Sunday huh? When and where are you in London over Christmas. Maybe I can come down and meet up with you for a day or something. Getting to london is sooooooooo much easier than getting to the Edin-burger joint, although I would love to come and see the place as I don't recall ever having been there before.

I'm coming down to London frighteningly soon I think though I haven't bought my tickets yet so we'll see...
Currently planning on being there from the 17th December to the 3rd January with added NYC from the 24th to the 2nd
Molly-family central is in Camden and I expect it to be a crazy couple of weeks. In a good way I'll have to confer with my mother to see when I'm allowed out to play though.
Juggling balls sound very advanced to be crocheting. I've got a victorian book of patterns so my stuff veered towards the unecessarily complicated and fine with needles more like wire. Gave me sore fingers

I liked the "Megastore" one where they took over the headphones at the virgin megastore and the "syncrhonized swimming" in Washington Square Park fountain. The "look up more" one was also cool since it was at Union Square as well.
