yes folks, it's drawing closer, the best juggling convention in the world! (according to Derek.)

The 18th-26th September, Woodhouse Park, Bristol. It's going to be great and I hope to see a lot of spinners there advancing the opinion of poi amoungst jugglers (that's gonna happen!). weavesmiley juggle hug

Follow the A38 and it's signposted. You're heading for Tockington you can see it on this map as Woodhouse down.

Hello everyone - wooo its coming closer ... bounce

If only coming for a weekend i would suggest the second weekend! but come on friday afternoon for the public show (i think its friday anyway), cos sunday is mostly packing up & leaving .. Also thurdays night is the firenight if you can get friday off work..

For the bristol people - if you have to work during the week - i used to just live (camp) out in the park and come back into bristol for the days i had to work and spend my evenings at the conv. There are buses from the center to thurnbury as well, but cycling is also possible (bout an hour or so)

See you all there, Mike biggrin

Where are you now tim ?? Hopefully we wont have to isolate anything in your honour wink

Cities scare you when you drive?? For those who haven't experienced it, Beth's driving is a little.....erm....well scary! Only in little cornish country lanes where she bombs round like a loon, it's like having the cheapest fastest scariest funnest bestest roller coaster with Beth at the controls! eek ubblol

heh heh, ok I tried to learn to do this juggling thing that my mate can do, it's kinda like Mills Mess but without crossing hands, well that's how it looked to me anyhows. Boston Mess is it? I only say that tho cuz it's the only other mess name I know rolleyes Gonna try and nail it for the convention so you can all laugh at how bad my juggling is!

I have proper juggling balls now biggrin They came from magicgeek.com and glow really really nice, Strugz had the same ones at Falmouth. They kinda look like Aerotechs but feel softer.

OOH OOH!

I learnt a cool move off Brad in Falmouth too that looks great with glowy balls so I'll try to get that nailed too but it's hard when I'm learning soooo much poi. Which reminds me, are you still planning to do the contact poi workshop at BrJC Elasta?

No doubt they'll be a sphercular style wibbling, dibbling and tribbling workshop.

Plus i'm hoping poiple have ben practicing their wibbles so we can get a load of passing going on, wouldn't miss it for the world.

Big love,

Ben I reckon you're gonna enjoy staffing with Mr T&B, he's really quite good, and don't forget to bring your sock poi so you can learn some more stuff before you go home biggrin

AND INFLATABLE BED!! rolleyes You come half way round the world, spend lots of time travelling and meeting, playing with, learning and teaching new people and you insist on AN INFLATABLE BED! Bloody lightweight aussies!

We may have a spare tent as ours is actually two tent but it's the servents quaters so isn't exactly big but should sleep one plus one oversized bag if you're stuck biggrin
