I've been rooting around this place for a few weeks now and it never fails to impress me. Quite simply I love it. I bought my first staff a few months ago and last night I finally set it on fire. Now I am truly hooked for life. What a blast, and I only burned myself very slightly.

So hello everyone!!!

Hey NYC, me first, I'm the invalid here, and you have Molly to shoulderrub you all you want!

ado-p, I'll be up Calton Hill for Beltane practice on Sunday, but I'll see if I can make Saturday night at the Überstaff party! Unless you want to watch a bunch of hippies at Beltane practice of course, but I suppose you've got more interesting things to do with the rest of the staffers!!

Very very glad to hear you're much better though biggrin

if the kettle is put on too soon, it will boil dry.

oh I found a quote at the beginning of a Really long review about iron transport and stuff in bacteria. I don't have a clue what relevance it had to the paper, but I thought you'd like it smile

Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk.

I want someone to explain to me what the trout is doing adn why it is poking its milky nose into a paper about iron.

im merley a bit slow on the uptake

my thinking on the matter of circumstational evidence is that is is using overstatment to emphasise the fact that

if theres a trout in your cup then its there and oyu cant argue with it?

I used to test milk for taints and one of the recognised discriptions for a taint was 'fishy' smell. It never got as specific at 'trout' though! Another one was 'baby sick'.... they were all pretty much ewwwww though. It took some time to train to tell the different smells.

sorry I didn't get to hug you goodbye And you missed Paul (the new fire hoop).
I'd say I'll just have to come visit you but the liklihood of getting Paul to Ireland seems slim to none, so you'll have to come here again biggrin
