As some of you amy or may not know, over the march break, I went to NYC with a school trip. And words can not say how amazing that city is. And I only left Manhattan once, to go on the ferry to see the stature of Liberty.
My good friend and fellow Hopper Elanna came down from NJ to meet me for the first time in real life!! It was a true treat! We went out, and found a mini drum circle (that ended up being an anti-bush group... "DROP BUSH NOT BOMBS!"), and we started spinning, with Ela's pretty spinny things.
There are a few other photos on there from my day with Elanna. And I grin madly. Yep, get used to it.

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

NYC, I tried to steal her away and come to Queens, but alas! My plan was thwarted...

I really wanted to!!! OH how I wanted to! Unfortunately, due to the fact that it was a school trip, we weren't allowed to leave Manhattan, unless with a chapherone.
When Ela told me on the phone in my hotel room that you guys were having a spin while I was down, and Ela was *up*... Oh, it was horrible! I so wish I could've gone Oh, and the shoe Ela's holding up is named "Gaynor". We thoght that Gnor would like to know what she looked like if she were a shoe
As for the hat... TOTAL impulse buy, influenced by friends. Ela was with me, and it was either the trucker hat, or the fuzzy orange bucket hat. And the bucket hat just *didn't* work for me.
