I've noticed that the Anti-war thread has gotten a little long and off focus, and seems to be now a little more like a "let's bitch about everything" thread. Right, got one......What gets me is this:I'm confused by the plight of mankind in trying to see significance in a seemingly puropseless world. I mean, what exactly are we working for? I am in no way a morbid person, I love life, I love the fact that I am alive and I try to take pure advantage of it everyday. Slowly, I am beginning to question the things I 'have' to do - or supposedly I 'have' to do them, it's 'required' of me. Why? Our lives today are full of meaningless events on which we try to impose meaning in a sad attempt to control time, and thus life. Life is a repetitive cycle of meaningless actions, but so long have we ignored this, that these activities have now become vital to living. They are our existence.We have increased the rate at which we live in order to fill 'time'. In this rapidly moving society, we try to remain oblivious to our condition by providing these activities in a desperate attempt to control something. Anything. Are routines never change: we get up, we go to work, we eat lunch, we work some more, we go home, we see friends, we eat food, we go to sleep, we get up ,we go to work.... nothing ever changes.And for what? This lack of variety proves that time has very little meaning to us. That sadens me. I hear day in day out people complaining, "There's not enough time to do anything these days" or "There just aren't enough hours in the day", when really there are. We just don't notice time as we are preoccupied with this shitty desire to fill it. We spend all our time filling in time and then comlaining that there isn't enough of it! Pardon?! Most people are ignorant to this fact, and in those who realise, very few actually try to change. Everything in this world seems at present, to be irrational and illogical, because people today seem to avoid truth more than ever. We are lied to day in and day out by those who are suposed to govern us and lead us. Humans have this twisted necessity to move away from truth, to hide it. But do we hide? or are we blinded by it? Have we as a race become so immune, so dumb and incoherent that we can't answer the questions we ask ourselves or see what is real?

The concrete under your feet, no trees, hell, no dirt. Tidy little placements of shrubs and bushes occassionaly to add a little color to the gray concrete refuse we walk on and live in. We kill everything we touch so we can manipulate it just a little bit better to suit our needs. Life is forgotten in the cycle you speak.I was talking with my fiance yesterday and I came to the realization that:America no longer is a producer of goods. We have come so far and gotten so good at simplifying that we only need 1 person to farm food for thousands. We have eliminated the need to work, really. So what do our marketing genuises do? The shift the workforce to the daily routine which you speak. Drones are created. No longer do you need to get up at dawn to tend the fields. You go to work. You work for the company that sells you things you don't need. In a perverted way, It's almost like share cropping manufactured goods. You go to work to make money, but rather than save the money, you have to give it to other companies that give you crap you really don't need, and thus, negating everything you worked for to begin with. We still farm in America, we farm people. We produce nice little clones that work to buy. Anyhow, my little Rant...I'm not even gonna start ranting about sick people that need help with moves!!!

i came to the conclusion that life didn't make sense quite some time ago.... recently i've come to the conclusion that if you make up good enough story for yourself it doesn;t matter... so i'm in the process of looking for a good story. in the meantime, i fill my life with meaningless activeties that eat my soul, and i play with boys... oops i meant poi! :P i'm happy today in my own little bizarro world....

All of them are nice and such, but seriously, i haven't met a kandi kid yet that was just messed on E. They dress up a certain way to get accepted into a group.
