Hello, and welcome to
THE HOME OF POI MONKEY TREEHOUSE
a place for all ape related HoPsters to call their own
and aren't we all related to apes in some way?
My Reasons For Building This Monkey Treehouse
1. i had a lovely intro thread on the old board, but don't feel the need to have it moved over. i don't have time to keep it fresh and reliably reply to stuff anymore. But it'd be nice to have a thread where i can come and chat rubbish every so often.
2. i feel there is something of a covert secret brotherhood of HoP monkeys, and a place for us all to plan, plot, and/or prevaricate on issues of monkey importance is long overdue.
3. Eva Sunbeam wants somewhere to post a monkey picture she found
4. Everywhere should have a monkey treehouse
Rules Of The Monkey Treehouse
i. No banana pilfering, thievery or burglary of any nature.
ii. Any references to "monkey loving" are to be of a Family Friendly Nature.
iii. Every, any, all and each monkey that wishes to call the monkey treehouse their home may do so; but first they must introduce themselves to the treehouse, supplying ANY RELEVANT INFORMATION about their person. Failure to do so shall result in being called before the High Council of Monkeys, and the offender may be required to pay a fine of up to 17 bananas.
iv. No whooping after 11pm.
v. Non-monkey HoPsters are welcome to make use of the monkey treehouse's facilities, including the pool, bingo hall and miniature golf course. Ape related salutations, jokes, anecdotes or other messages shall be warmly appreciated.
Let the monkey business commence...

i've been trying to work out the moral of Bovril's story. i think i've got it:
Spiders are bastards
but i knew that already.
Big ups to jocnof for giving me yet another opportunity to use my incredibly witty "the missing link" joke
Today is my last day working for Her Majesty's Government
a fact i'm not entirely unhappy about
although i don't know what i'm going to have to moan about now...
trying to get through my last day more
than 
and i'm not doing too badly...
so my HoP presence will be becoming rarer like what a normal person's should be.

If I promiss to be good can I come and play.
ground rules for me (or should that be tree rules)
1 no monkey hyperloops.
2 only put monkeys through rings with prior permission.
3 promiss to bring some bannans each time I attend.
4 seals might need some help in geeting up to the great hights of the monkey house, can you help.
5 will perform flaming rizla trick when asked.
6 will keep within the rules as showen on the first post by the great monkey.
CAN I COME AND PLAY TO:
first contribution 1 box of bannans. containing atleast 63 in there

supposing we limit the term "Anyone" to refer only to members of the species homo sapiens residing on the planet Earth.
then there are, to our best estimates, roughly 6,500,000,000 anyone's.
Now we must determine the likelihood of banana desire...
a study by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville on the taste preferences of toddlers found that bananas were 'liked' by 85% of toddlers. We shall take this as representative.
so there are roughly 5,525,000,000 anyone's who like bananas.
As a rough average, lets assume that people actively want food for about 30% of their lives
(given that this is an unusually high proportion of time, but this is taking into account the 800 million people who are perpetually hungry)
which gives us 1,657,500,000 anyone's who like bananas and are hungry
so i reckon about one and a half billion people want a banana

What happened to monkey boy?? He went to stay at UCoF's and was never heard of again! Do you think UCoF has him tied up in his basement? Is UCoF performing Lab tests on poor Simian with Bodyshop make up to make sure its truely safe for UCoF's delicate skin???
