The flash moive works, but when I try to download it I just get an html document and it's taking forever too load maybe it won't load at all which I think is really weird.
As for making it better, what's a Z plane?

A: like a charm, a bit pixelated, but you can see everything well enough

A: I think world peace might be a good start, perhaps some beer would be nice if you can't manage that.. erm If you can manage it, a side scrolling menu bar with a snap of each movie down at the bottom to navigate the movie clips once they're all up? I can imagine pause would be useful for someone wanting to stop the movie to look at hand positions, n using actionscript, you can even code up a little function to fake slo-mo on the movies as well..Flash MX rocks for movie stuff eh.

A. the site works if u want to view it but i couldnt save it on my computer

A. yep loads really fast for me

A. if u want to make it downloadable so ppl save it zip it up and put a link to that

all works and loads nice and fast on a modem @56k


fairly clear picture but it needs to be higher quality IMO so people can follow your hands.
Higher frame rate preferable over larger size.

Like the flash layout but please please please provide a downloadable version.

I'll explain things like 'Z-plane' in an 'Encyclopoidia'

It's a handy way of diferentiating the moves.

X-plane = Horizontal plane = floor plane = corkscrew plane

Y-plane = Vertical Wheel plane = weave plane

Z-plane = Vertical Wall plane = Butterfly plane

I'll stick the links to the flash files on in the 'Web Links' Catagory, then I'll Zip them up and have them in the downloads section.

Bit pixelated : Yep, but I wanna keep the file sizes as small as possible, I've still got a bit of tweaking to do with that so the final vids will be slightly higher resolution.

I'm working on the world peace bit but it may take a while

I'll put some kind of navigation on there eventually but It's better for me if people link from the php site. That way I can just 'dump' everything on there and not have to fanny about with flash. Also I can keep track of hits and such like.

Flash MX certainly does rock for movie stuff, and apparently Flash MX 2004 is even better at it.

Vim: Glad to hear it works on 56Kb Modem. I'll tweak the file sizes and frame rate etc. And i'll include proper file downloads.

Glad to hear it all works, been a lot of work getting it this far. I'll be working on spherculism loads over christmas, so you all will have plenty to learn in 2004

So this Z plane is the same plane as a waist wrap?
I see now why I can't download it and stuff, no one else can.

nice video, I'm gonna have to work on that... of course it will be in front of me not behind or else I'll just hurt myself...

Just curious though, X usually represents elevation, so that make sense for a hoizontal plane (corkscrews) but Y typically shows with or a flat wall towards you, while Z is depth, draw a cube and label it and the Y access is going to be covering the face of the box with Z showing the dept on the sides.. I know this has probably been debated a billion and a half times in here, so I'll just shut up now..
