Name: Pele (based on the Volcano Goddess not the soccer player)

B-Date: Oct 16, 1973, you figure out the age wink

Been doing this stuff: Many years

What do I do?: It all, just not well smile

Job: Performer, Event Organizer, Writer, Director, Performance Consultant, Henna Artist...not in that order

Location: Webster, Western New York State

Other: Proud mother of one 11 1/2 year old named Noah.

Pets: 1 Bearded Dragon named Harley, 1 Guinea Pig named Snowflake, 2 cats: Joujou Grisgris and Fizzgig, r.i.p. goldie and sage (the snakes)

Hobbies: Reading, mostly dark novels and fantasy-ish stuff, along with business and performing books. Fantasy Art. Movies, love movies. Music..almost any kind really. Learning, don't really care about what. I have an amazing aptitude at retaining incredibly useless knowledge....just ask Kombiguy, Gardening, especially herbs and veggies. Cooking....oh how I love to cook.....with the herbs I grow. Artsy stuff.

All of my favorites are based on moods, such as food, color, drinks, etc. I always love Popcorn as a snack though. It's rather a greasy-salty addiction to tell you the truth.

Things I love: My friends...more than they could ever possibly know, the elements, life on the whole, a hot cup of tea cuddled under a blanket on a cold night with all the lights off and a good movie on and a roaring fire going. To lay in the shade in cool sand on a hot day with water at my feet and look for shapes in the clouds. Watching my son be melodramatic, especially when reading outloud. He cracks me up. Making up constellations in a full starry sky.

Personal outlook: All of live should be lived with passion and conviction, preferrably in what we love rather than what we don't love. Faith should be strongest within ourselves than in a preacher in a pulpit. Every day is the chance to begin again, to mend broken things and to be who we want....it is NEVER too late.

Pet Peeves: Stupid commercials. Bad drivers (other than me of course! smile ). The words "I can't". (I have more but I am in such a good mood they slip my mind...ooops!)

Anyway....ummmm....I have no idea what else to say here so I will leave it up to questions, comments, harrassments...whatever.

hug

I'll let you in to a little secret... well, some thing that I thought about a lot, many a time too.

Love is mysterious, I love love for [censored] with your brain. But with it who said it has to be straight love?. Not that I haven't fallen for a guy in the past, not like i haven't had tendencies like others, curiosities messing with your head.

But I have to agree with Tom (NX?).. chicks just got this Ass!! that i cant leave alone... cant beat a girl with a good ass.

Anyway in regards to my previous comment, was meant in a light hearted way, I wasn't being serious.

***EDIT*** MODS/ADMINS! I can't seem to imbed images! 'Elp, 'Elp!!!

DOUBLE EDIT!!! THESE LINKS ARE PG BUT NOT NECESSARILY SAFE FOR WORK

I know you were kidding, PK. I was kidding back.

And the thing is that you may love a guy, you might even have sex with him. It might even be sorta fun for ya.

I've loved women, I've had sex with women, and it was sorta fun.

But with guys there's this throwdown factor. With women I always had to hold back on my strength or I'd hurt her and she'd complain. With a guy, I can throw him on the bed, bearhug him, tackle him, wrestle with him (and sometimes win, and sometimes lose...sometimes voluntarily, sometimes involuntarily biggrin ), and throw my entire body into the exercise. And with a guy I want to.

Women may have curves and sex appeal like this.(admittedly it's a bit ditzy and dysmorphic for my taste, but it was what I could find quickly).

Or what I personally find far more attractive in a woman is this: (she's a triathlete) But the classic notion of beauty clashes with a more liberating notion of beauty. Give me a woman who looks like she works her body to the limits over a woman who looks as if she pampers it.

But men, for me, have this way of combining athleticism, robustness, and sex appeal. Classic beauty is the same as the beauty of an athlete. If you're like me, an athlete into athletes, being a gay man is a paradise... Admittedly it gets a bit superficial after a while.

But this man is an athlete, and he's classically gorgeous

And many people would die to get in this guy's pants.

And men do have ass (PG-13!!). And a back to go above it and legs to go below it. And they also have shoulders and a few other body parts I can mention.

(Ladies and gays, did you like how I managed to justify that display under the guise of an intellectual discussion of sexuality? Huh? wink )

So, PK, I agree, it's all a matter of perspective. But look at the bright side, we're not competing with each-other.

And that's why I like being friends with straight guys. No competition, very relaxing. Except when they don't insist on discussing sports. ubblol

I totally agree, there are lots of good factors with a guy, there are lots of factors with any body... it's just finding the right person male or female frown that's the down fall above all.

All I can say right now is that I found a person that I've never loved so much in my life. I'm going to continue carrying my heart on my sleeve. She means the world to me.

So mike how are you on the looks factor?... does it really matter to you? do they always have to be hot like D.Beckham? ..always sportive, or is bob the builder ok too?.

Now wait a minute there Mike. I know plenty of women, self included, who really enjoy a good throw down. My best friend, in fact, has the bruises to prove it. That was an extreme generalization you made there.

On the flip side, women also have a tenderness to them that is sometimes comforting and soothing and I find very often missing in men. Throw downs are fun, but at the end of the day having someone who can play both the ruffian and the delicate lover is really ideal for many.

It's all in personal taste and as someone who has batted for both teams, I can say that for me

Yes, that was very intellectua...er...clever of you. wink

In the end I think that you love who you love and to look only at one kind of an aesthetic can limit one to other possibilities...but if that is what gets the engine revving to start out with, well, then...who am I to say anything? wink

I like a guy who looks like he stays in shape. I think it's more of an ethos thing than asthetics. An athletic body at my age implies either some sort of discipline or extraordinarily fortunate genetic makeup.

Beckham? What a torso, but the arms are too twiggy. But he is an example of what is beautiful about the male form, especially since you brought up the female heiny.

Yes, but that's my experience. Not a generalization. I'm sure there are women who could kick my behunkus. But I'm not particularly driven to seek them out. wink

hey, i enjoy a good throwdown. but i agree with Pele, sometimes you need the balance between getting rough and someone who can also cater to the gentle side.

i'm TOTALLY down for a good throwdown on Mike's couch wink ubblol back in the day when regyt was around, they planned on having a dom-off using me as a sub to see who would make a better dom. not sure how i got suckered into that one though ubblol

so i had a random thought given this marmite/vegemite/nutella war. where do you and PK stand on it, and will that affect the relationship? and what if you have kids, how will they be raised? i mean, this is serious stuff here, it's really at the level of holy wars wink

Funny story on the whole marmite/vegemite thing. Chris (Kombiguy) gave some to me when in NZ. I thought I was going to yuke and ended up spitting it in the sink. Damn. I would rather drink from the ocean...it has less salt.

Nutella, like it in nutella rolls, and as a desert sandwich with fluff. wink

No idea about the man. PK? Where are you on that.

Ummm...kids? eek Getting ahead of ourselves a bit aren't we? ACK! Though, I can honestly say, that crap won't be in my cupboard! lol

YAY! Pounce throwdown...need to go get fit now. wink

Mand, yes. Yes I believe you are right and I would. lol That's why they're hot on men, but maybe not for you on your bro cause that's just weird ya know. wink
