Oooooh Yes!!!!! And next year is actually three days long!
Friday is Bad Fairie day
Saturday is Good Fairie day
Sunday is Family day

I'm kidnapping my niece next year for it.

You guys will need to fly into PDX (that's the code for Portland Oregon) and it's about a two to three hour drive from there, depending on who's driving. If you guys need any help just contact me and we'll see what I can do for you.

Pounce, does this mean that you might think about coming to the festival? It's down outside of Eugene.

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

They both are mischief makers, the difference is that the bad ones mischief is bad on purpose, while the good ones mischief can be bad but by accident.

And the bad fairies dress a lot darker than the good ones.

Pounce, go check out this.

umm Now I need to decide if I want to make sure I get down there before you are after. I believe it would be better NOT to be on the road when you are. wink

I don't get having the steering wheel on the left. Means that you have to steer with your left hand (majority of the population's non-dominant hand) when you have to change gears. Seems dangerous to me.

umm I'm confused. How does having the steering wheel on the left makes it a back to front? I felt really wierd when I was down there and got in on the left side of the car and didn't have a steering wheel.

But you still drive on the left side of the road, which is not the right which means that you drive on the wrong side of the road. wink

Shifting with the non-dominant hand just wouldn't work. Then the gear shift would be between you and the door and not in the middle, where it's needed.

But can you really expect logic from a country that drives on the wrong side of the road. wink

even though originally most traffic drove on the left worldwide

Wikipedia

"These grooves suggest that the Romans drove on the left, at least in this particular location.

In fact, some believe that ancient travellers on horseback generally rode on the left side of the road. As more people are right-handed, horsemen would thus be able to hold the reins with their left hands and keep their right hand free—to offer in friendship to passing riders or to defend themselves with swords, if necessary. This also explains why men's jackets and shirts have the buttons on the right. It was important to be able to reach a weapon inside a cloak, so for a right-handed person, the cloak had the left flap over the right flap and the right hand could easily reach in and grab the weapon."

So you see, we are the correct ones holding on to the historically correct side to drive on. nana

Which is a good thing cos they drive on the right in Italy these days so those Romans might get in strife.

Just shows how the US is taking over the world with their right-hand driving! Even overtook the Romans! eek
