I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

Welcome back Pounce hug

According to that test this is me:-

eXpressive: 7/10
Practical: 6/10
Physical: 3/10
Giver: 9/10

You are a XPIG--Expressive Practical Intellectual Giver. This makes you a Catch.

You are a magazine-cover, matinee idol dreamboat. Parents love you and want to set you up with their kids. However, first dates are tough because it takes time for your qualities to come out.

You are generous and kind. You think first and act later. You are cool in a conflict, but your practical side means if your partner throws out emotional appeals ("why can't we do what I want for a change?") they will grate on your nerves, even when the conflict is resolved.

You're a romantic. You enjoy the thrill of the hunt, and you don't just fall into bed with anyone. You pay close attention to your significant other's needs, and this makes you an excellent lover and partner. The problem is that your friends and lovers may find it so easy to express things to *you* that they lose sight of whether you feel as comfortable with *them*! This doesn't necessarily make you feel under-appreciated -- you're too well-adjusted and self-aware for that -- but you may feel restless. Thus you seek adventure in your life outside the relationship to prove and actualize yourself.

Of all the types, you would make the best parent.

You are coiffed.

Hmmmmmmm not sure I agree with that..........

wow, ok for one, i can't believe you read that many posts! uber kudos to you! ubblol i feel so honored.

and thanks everyone smile i feel so gushy from all the warm wishes. special thanks to vanize....it makes me silly happy to know people notice me around here *giggles*

well, as for the engagement story, it's not a spectacular story, but it's happy nonetheless smile we went to a party saturday night...the whole night he was being so adorably wonderful. i was stressed over a few things, and he kept doing everything possible to make me feel better. after the party we went to a friend's house for an afterparty, and i was not feeling the vibe very well, so we left and again he was doing everything on the drive home to make me feel better. so when we got home, we stayed up and talked a bit, did a little poi. by that time it was early morning, and the sun was starting to come up (it was actually raining, but it was that time of morning). it started to get bright in our bedroom so he offered to cover up the windows with some blankets. we layed in bed for awhile, made love (a few times biggrin ) and a short while later, he asked me for a pounce hug (some of you know what i'm talking about). because there wasn't much room in the bedroom, he stood on the bed and i jumped up on him to hug him. he then pulled me down on the bed and kissed me, and then pulled the ring out from the ledge behind my head, and proposed. smile

uber excited here...i'm getting Lasik eye surgery in less than three weeks biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

and my parents are working it out so they will "buy" my house for me (the loan will be in their name since my credit is still icky, but i'll be making all the payments). after a year i should be able to switch it into my name.

*sigh* life is really good these days.

and omg, how could i forget?! i got hired on at a show on the Strip, doing fire safety for their fire performances!! faith got me the job (she so rocks!). it's awesome experience, and seriously AWESOME pay (helps me get my house!).

ok, so while i'm gushing with happiness, i should update everything. my job is going great, i will be getting a raise in less than a month. my boss is letting me start to get my own cash-pay clients so i can begin building up my own practice. and she's giving me more responsibility at work, which is overwhelming at times, but i still love it. my boss is pregnant, and the timing actually should work out perfect because when she's off a few weeks for maternity leave, i'll be studying for my licensing exam and should be able to take it then. plus she's still going to have me working part time, doing all the evals still. i'll basically be running the show, but she'll still be at all the appointments.

chris and i are doing great. we got engaged again, although we recognize we still have some work to do on us. but he's going back to school in may. he's starting massage therapy school, and he should be finished in 7 months to a year. we're both excited, although it will definately be tough with all the time that it will take away from the relationship, but thankfully it's not that long.

i found a three-bedroom townhome i absolutely LOVE and should be able to afford, as long as everything goes as planned with the loan arrangement with my parents. i just received an inheritance from my grandmother, and i'm being smart and using the bulk of it for a down payment and to pay off ALL my credit card bills and whatnot (basically everything except my student loans and my car).

i feel so grown-up and responsible. never realized it would feel this great smile
