And Hangar Fun - I didn't edit it, Ryan did, but I filmed some, and I am in it at some point:

BONUS - but while I was trawling my putie for the clip above, I found a little bit of the raw footage from Drew and Stick.that I though some of you might like to see:

I'm warning you, don't get your hopes up, this aint great,

Old Clip 2002

Its filmed by nik, there was no sound recorded on the original recording which is a pity, because i think that it fitted the music very well. so I slapped some lemonjelly on the top.

It really was just me walming up while nik was learning how to use the new camera, hence, It has 3 mistakes, and some dodgy filming but I like the way that it is loose and free, and the complete improvness.

Look out for:

The bandage on my toe - the bottom of my foot had a big slash, and I'd had to got to hospital a week before, it made the foot tricks a lot more painful, and thats why I'm not moving very much.

The Jackie Chan, - "Armour of God 2" sequence is in there too

Some stick isolations from 2002 near the end

be cool,

Glass smile

Translation: Your Windows Media Player or whatever will probably need to be the latest version or have to download DivX components in order to play back this video. Otherwise it'd be too big as the only way to get technical stuff across is to have good quality videos.

hello,

my my, thats pretty spiffy stuff glass. welike welike.

I been thinking about traveling contact recently, doing contact and moving around quite a lot, rather than rooted to the spot as often happens.

You, I and Minero really kneed to get together sometime, between the three of us we could make one expert! take it easy,

Tom

p.s. what the hell are you spinning in the poi type bits?

That's a really cool video, it's almost enough to make me take up staff again, I may well have to make a practise staff that doesn't hurt as much as my other one.
Good choice of backing music too, it's DJ Shadow isn't it?

How on earth do you manage the hyperloop thing? I saw you do it at PiP and couldn't even come close to pulling it off when I had a play a couple of days later

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

I'll be going on Saturday with a few (non-spinning) friends, looking 4 fun & games to groove all night. It has given me a bit of a dilemma tho'. If I take a staff, then I'll look like a posing fool, and if I don't then I'll be wanting to spin all night. Ah well, such is life.
If you're going to be on you're own then give me a call (07989356077). Its a tragedy to see a lonely spinner
Anyways I'm running off now before Glass gets angry at me for hijacking his topic.

edit: oops, it turns out I'm actually going on Friday.

Drew, that is some damn impressive stuff if i may say so! very well done, *bows down*

- i think i'm wearing out the file trying to learn (*cough* steal *cough*) new moves - or at least the magic decoding elves are probably getting pretty damn tired.

Glass- With one word: Beautiful. Simply beautiful!

The way that your staff seems to have a life and soul of it's own when it spins around your body is amazing.

Very inspiring stuff! Now I REALLY need to focus more on contact twirling.

Thank you!

That's one of the most great and orginal patterns I've watched any staff twirler come with and makes me realise how little attention I give to this fantastic art.

You give me that old fashioned motivated feeling, thanks.

Bulldozer and bezerker . Thank you for the lovely feedback. really made me smile.
Glad that be of inspiration and motivation, this is really why I made it, makes the hours of editing worthwhile.

You've reminded me me of the many twirlers, jugglers, lovely people and masters who have inspired me over the last few years, and still do
(some of them I've put in the credits at the end)

King Louie, LOL not everyone can be the orange, long armed star of a top disney feature film.
hey poodles are pretty good

Dom ** and fall over**
I think dom has forgotten that We've made a deal to go film him poiing this weekend for the next exciting installment of the poodle files coming to a hop cinema near you soon.

The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer-- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.-- Ken Kesey

Make sure you got divx 4 or later
you dont need the playa, just the codec.
then get mediaplayer 7.1 or later

If that don't work get back to me.

Have found out that my moitor before was really bright, so its kinda set up for a bright/turned up monitor. might reissue soon,.
otherwise you cant see the roll to footcatch and roo to footcatch kick up that i do do (really ) on the last 2 moves

Wikkaman, don't know if you're running PC or Mac but if Mac is your flavor then you need to get the 3ivx D4 PR1 Decoder. (https://www.3ivx.com/download/macos_4_pr1.html)
Install it according to the instructions and then if you're running OS X you're set to watch the movie.
OTOH if you're running Classic then you need to process the video through DivX Doctor first (https://doctor.3ivx.com/).
Good luck!

Wow!!!

Glass, that was amazing. The lights, the people, the things, the other things....

Loved it all. Will re-iterate this later in another form...

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...
