I met her at the valley festival when they were preforming...and she is just so friendly and warm...I wuv her to pieces.. I also hung out with the drummer terry at the splendor in the grass festival but I didnt know who he was until he left and people started coming up to me going "did you know who that was?" and I was saying "yeah a really nice cute guy with dreads that was laughing at all my jokes...!"...DUH!!!
I actually twirled poi for them too at the festival when they were playing at the front of the stage!!! YAY i luv george...

i read your grey morning, there was a time when I had a lot of grey mornings. A time when I could only shuffle, and no one could hear my voice, a time when days passed un moved in, un spoken in, total blank.
Since that time I have learned that there is beauty everywhere and the thing is to see it, to be it's beholder, because it's in the eye isn't it?
And when I realised that, a void got filled, and it filled with sky. So look up, grey sky or not.
All this is cheap to say, but it was expensive to live and I don't mean it as some throw away thing, life is beautiful...hard, shit and all the rest of it, but beautiful none the less.

dont get me wrong, grey mornings dont make me sad. I actually love foggy mornings, the way when im the only person at the train station it feels like im in some dodgy detective novel, and all the lights are fuzzed in gold...
but thankyou, i really appreciate you writing that, it was lovely (and the nick drake quotes were a fantastic touch )
This mornings sky was orange... fog again, but deep orange, and brown behind me. It must have been a bush fire somewhere lighting up the sky, very eirie...
