phwarr you lucky lucky people.
I've been asked to bump the brixton club in london
So here it is:
Its cool and friendly, you can just chat to anyone.
Jez (god of staff) and coolness runs it.
I'm going to go every week,. I used to teach poi and staff a lot, and I'm missing teaching at the moment, So if you want me to teach you Anything, please come and ask, I want to start doing lessons again. (or ask anyone really, its good like that.) ps I can be bribed with irn bru and fair trade chocolate.
Wednesdays 7:00pm - 10:00pm (then go to the windmill pub)
Brixton Hill Methodist Church, Corner of Brixton Hill & Elm Park. Entrance is the third gate on the Left on Elm Park, go upstairs at the back of the church, or if its sunny out on the grass at the front.
tax 2.50 pounds
(but if you have no money then pay what you can pay)

The best way to get there is by cycle. (actually its the best way to get anywhere in london) but if you're in love with public transport. then brixton tube at the bottom of the victoria line is the one. from there its either a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride
any of these buses will get you there

The Brixton workshop needs a bit of another pump up so here it is. You want to go to brixton you need to go to brixton. The adress is being helpfully provided by glass at the top of the thread. It's lovley with lots of really great people of all disciplines and boxes of toys.
We are going to start running concentrated workshops on different disciplines each week.
The workshops will start after bristwhole because by then we'll all be back.
It will start with martin doing a diablo weird grinds workshop and then week after I've been dragooned into doing a forearms and thumbs workshop. After that we have to start dragging people in. There'll be a more involved thread on this once we get all the logistics sorted out.

oooOOOOOooo me wants to come, i used to go to brixton all the time cos my ex live in brixton hill but i havnt been in ages. Im too scared to just turn up on my own though because im soooooo dippy that ill go to the wrong place pull oout my poi and have everyone staring at me because ive walking into and alcoholics anoymous meeting or something :-S
See i actually live in staines but go to college in selhurst so im right near there every day (kinda right near there.... nearer than staines) So if anyone wanted to meet up before and take me with them..i would be sooo grateful!!

Is anyone else going? (apart from Glass who's lured me with promises of special balls and some rather good CJ tutorage)
Also - er - I'll be car-ing it in - Is this wise/possible? Car parking?

If you're driving you can park right outside. Unless somebody else has already parked there in which case you'll have to park a couple of car lengths away and walk. It's a tough life.
