Mr Malcolm,I think the reason your old board was so popular was because it was simple and easy to use, and everyone felt comfortable with it. This new one may have half a bucket full of new features and tricks ... but it's not the old Home of Poi message board everyone is comfortable with ... and one time posters may not be bothered registering to post.Maybe if your old board was getting a little long, you could break off the bottom half and archive it somewhere.Anyways ... that's my opinion ... maybe it's just my predjudice against smiley faces, flashing light bulbs and the like. It also only takes one person to load a 1000 x 1000 image and through everything into chaos.Ðraevon.

I like it .. I can just check the areas Im into if Im in a hurry, things are more clearly limited by thread .. which admitedly relys on people using it properly ... but its a lot neater and I kinda feel its simpler too ..I think the same software (what is it btw Malcom?) is used on another site I check regularly - and it works really well for diverse topics/threads (I think that some of their forums run in the 20,000 messages) .. So having some degree of futureproofing for the site seems like good planning .. smilecyas ... what are you using to do it all Malcom and what else did you look at? Ive got absolutely no need for a message board at the moment, but it sounds like fun smilebyeeDean

I wish I could jump like that, he thought. Some can and some can't. That's how it is.

Bored were you? It is quite amusing to see than someone was worried no one would register and post.

Are we nearly there yet?

Us Aussies use Kerosene too *pokes out tongue*.

Took me ages to figure out it was the same thing, and I completely confused by boss by asking where the nearest servo (petrol station) was so that I could buy some kero!!

I'm slightly confused though by Mr Draevon being member #7 in this thread, when everyone knows that Jo Derry is member #7....

But i'm sure it won't stop me sleeping tonight.

C@ntus saw one of the lurkers reading this thread on the "who's online" bit and decided to bump it.

Just to spite them probably....

If Cantus and UCOF spent all the time on here actually doing something...

I'm pretty sure they could save the world.

Then again, maybe it's best for the world if they are inside glued to their computer screens. wink

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.
