I am just in the middle of writting up a proposal to run some free workshops in poi and flagging for the Sydney road Street Party in March 2006. I was also thinking of asking the council to let us use a space in the street, for local fire twirlers and drummers to have a play later on in the evening. Not sure how hard this will be to do, does anyone have any idea about council reactions to using fire at a public event?
