no. i tend to not name stuff much. means i dont get attached to it, and if i lose/break it i won't be a wreck. though i'd be highly annoyed if i lost my zippo.

i dont reckon you are ever in possession of anything, really.
i mean... everything is transitory in nature. what is, will eventually no longer be. so what you now have, you will one day no longer have. no matter what it is.
so there is nothing to hold on to. you may as well just let go of everything right now, and save yourself the suffering that would come when you eventually did "lose" it.
really, we are just caretakers of that which happens to be around us. nothing is "ours".
(how arrogant of us...) wink
buddha goes, suffering is created through desire and attachment. desire to have what we dont have, or desire to not have what we do have.
so just be sweet with what you've got, and let it all flow.
and:
im not saying this to anyone in particular, just rambling... so dont think i'm talking to YOU.

coz i love you. heart

nicely said, sir.

though, i'm sure there are things we do 'possess', though not necessarily material objects smile

i like my zippo. mum gave it to me for my 18th. it lights my smokes, and my poi. and when i drip kero in it, it works better smile

I think we do possess things, just not permanently. ie, i currently possess a hat, but if that hat is lost, then i cease to possess it, and its finder begins to.

Well, I don't want people to get smooshed by cars.

I like zippos, me and my best mate both got ones once when we felt like it. Mine is someplace aboot my room.

I've got a big bunch of star stickers on top of my computer moniter right at this very moment when I read that, so I put one on my nose.

It fills my soul full of gleefull soul-glee.

are cuttlefish for eating? i always thought they were for using their chalky bodies for drawing on concrete with, and giving to birds to sharpen their beaks on. what the hell part of the fish is that chalk anyway?
