So yea, i'm a new poi spinner and looking for people to spin with in montreal. I usually speak french, but spinning is universal Having a hard time to find people to spin with, the find other tool isn't very recent. i got some orange fluffy pois, they are great for training, i really like them. Right now i'm working on basic stuff. I think i'm a slow learner, because when i see other people's comment they get every move in like a few minutes, where i need like a week or two, even for the simple stuff.
Right now i'm working on the 5 beat weave, i got the 3 beat weave down. I'm still having trouble with the butterfly. and i'd like to learn the windmill soon too. Once i get those moves down i'll practice transitions and more graceful stuff. I'm very dedicated, but i feel alone. my goal is to spin fire some day, maybe in a year ? maybe before that just to try simple stuff.

I know that there are a fair few jugglers at the circus school in Montreal. Not sure about spinners though, sorry.
