Activities: Well, I can't have any driving license for now, so thankfully I love biking (going to Granby, Sorel, Trois-Rivières on bike), Poi (duh!), reading, creating weird electronics stuff, programming website APIs, exploding/enflaming things, LARP/medieval/historic reconstitutions and plays (live blade too sometimes), camping, playing music(recorder, tin whistle, snoopy harp...)...
Music: Techno, metal,classic... pretty much everything except rap, and even that there's exceptions... Listening pink floyd, metallica, RATM, apocalyptica, beethoven, party mixes and games soundtrack...
Food: will jump on pretty much everything except palm hearts and mushrooms. won't take coffee very often, one energetic drink may send me straight to the hospital...)
Well, that pretty much sums me up. I am de one who will always be on weird projects, sometimes including electronics, sometimes not, but always trying things no one around me tried, and sometimes did not even heard of (slacklining, LARP, Poi spinning... to name a few...). I've got some health problems, and they are the only limits I am imposing to myself ( I hate being carried in ambulances, and all paramedics around know me by my first name -_-). I'm very energetic, always running to help anyone around.
I'me actually a student, learning programmer - analyst courses in Montreal. Despite having continuous bad lucks with my jobs, I've managed to collect an impressive amount of Poi material, enough so I started hooking more people to poi spinning! I'd be glad to spin and learn from seasoned spinners in Montreal, though - hopefully Nick is doing another seminar next month in Montreal...

Ask me about flow, and prepare to listen for the rest of your life, or tell me to stop talking eventually...

Posted: Hey there, welcome to the HoP.
Since you're up there, I would like to point out a fest you should be aware of. At the begining of January there is a festival (juggling, poi, hoop... basically circus arts) along with a wonderful show full of acrobats and the like at Quebec circus school, erm... L'ecole de cirque de Quebec... ^_^
Anyhow, I think it's the 7th, 8th, and 9th, this coming January, and it's awesome. It's called Turbo Fest, sometimes Turbo418.
If you can make it, make it, it's quite a fun experience I think.
Be well.

thank you for welcoming me (and sorry for the delay, my landlord disconnected electricity from my apartment, doing repairs)
Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why? depends on the class of the destroyer.
meshunderlay: thanks for telling me, unfortunately I'm on foot or cycling... I'll pass, no choice. At least, playpoi's at 20min from my home..

Posted: Ah, well, for the future then, there is almost the year after if not this year.
It's a 3 day event anyhow, it's about $40 give or take for the 3 days (includes show ticket and a place to sleep, provided you bring your own bag/pillow/tent/whatever).
There is a cirque type fest in Montreal occasionally also, same basic deal. I forget exactly where in Montreal though. I just remember it was a school of some sort right across from a Couche-Tard.
May the Spin be with you!
