Natasha, I definitely suggest taking a look at the poi lessons here on Home of Poi. You should also check out Nick Woosley's website, as his videos have helped me out a lot (I only started this past June). There are many other poi-learning resources, but those are the two I've used. Good luck grin

well nutalla is the delicious hazelnut chocolate spread from the gods. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutella

Vegemite on the other hand is Australian. And from everything I have learned about Australia and the creatures around it everything is dangerous. (cracked.com as a source...) Also its yeast.. chocolate is better! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegemite

And Marmite? Well lets just say I have never tried it and I fear the day where I see the MarmiteMobile trying to run me over driven by squirrels... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marmite

For why there is a battle I can only imagine it involved some toast and a breakfast argument that went horribly wrong...

On a side note. Good luck finding some people around you! I cant seem to find anyone really that is willing to respond to my messages! Nicks set of instructions on playpoi are amazing. I would recommend going threw the silly basic spinning because those helped me a lot in the long run . https://www.playpoi.com/poi-basics

Sorry I'm late to the welcoming committee, things have been a little nuts. WELCOME! I see you've already been offered the popcorn, this is good. New days as a spinner are great, everything is learning, no matter what you do. You're going to hit yourself, a lot. Nick is the one I learned a lot from, he's amazing and so is his team. I'm in nyc, but I might know a few people out your way. I can look into it if you'd like.

Don't let your world end with you

p.s. No, just in case you're going to ask, I did not misspell Warrior, its supposed to be like that.

I haven't been able to find a single poi artist anywhere near me. At all. I don't think they exist where I live.

So instead I'm trying to recruit people to join me. Which means I have to get better. Like... now.

Hope you have better luck that I've had grin
