I remember my last shooting star night has been some 10 or more years ago, when this comet passed eart...
Now it seems as there is a "meteor shower" passing earth once more, it is said that tomorrow around midnight you might have the best view on a night sky with shooting stars.
Just thought I'd let you know in case you missed it

The Perseid meteor shower was good last year. I drove out to the spring lake near my home pulled out my floaty and enjoyed the show.

Thanks for the heads up I'll be out there. This shower is referred too as the "tears of St. Lawrence." as he was martyred on the 10th of Aug, 258.

really bummed that i missed it this year but did get to see it a couple years ago. drove out to state land and parked in the middle of a clearing in the woods...it was breathtaking to say the least. hope to catch the next one.
