Hi All
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone own or know of any one who owns some land in the sussex area of the UK that would be willing to hire it out for a weekend wedding? I'm planning on getting married next year and need just an open bit of land that will allow a marquee, camping and fire without charging the earth. I've had a look about and can't really find anything. Can anyone help?

I'll see if I can help you my dear. Would also try contacting the NFU (National Farmers Union) they may be able to help you with a list of farmers local to you

You might also try asking Firetoys for the contact details of the place they held the Firegathering - They'll be at Southern Lights this year
but I'm not sure if that's too far away from you.

but I'm not sure if that's too far away from you. A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

Hi.
I was really surprised to see your entry when I googled wedding, land, camping sussex because your idea is exactly what we would like to do. Have you had any joy? Have you found somewhere that will accommodate you? Would really appreciate any info you have.

Theres not much about to be honest. I've ended up going with (Ridge Farm, Capel, Surrey) Theyre pretty expensive but it was either spend the money, or compromise on what we wanted. You might also want to try Grittenham barn, that would have been our second choice.
