Okay I'm a newbie, but I wanted to ask this for a possible future performance. When spinning for an audience, is there any rules as to what music you can use? Like I mean as far of copywrite goes? I won't be making money, other than a possible tip from the person asking me to perform, but hey you never know who's watching and might be interested in paying you for their own gathering smile

Think that depends on if it counts as a public performance.
If its not open to the public or with a silly number of bodies there you are fine.
(If it is your not making any money ok.)
However that said most venues have a public performance licence anyway.
