What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? 43 beats a second, but it apparantly depends on whether your talking about a European or African swallow. Also, a 5 ounce bird has no hope of carrying a 1 pound coconut around.

Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Chuck Norris Why? Because he is so tough, when he falls out of a boat he doesnt get wet, the water gets chucked.

Favorite TV show(s): I dont really watch tv

Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Anything that is acoustic and easy enough for me to play.

Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? No, its the donuts that do that.

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?* Vegemite all the way. They scrape it from the bottom of beer barrels, whats not to like about that?

not tall, Australia is too old to have real mountains. If you dont count Tasmania (most of us dont) Mt Buffalo has like 500m cliffs. Arapiles and Moonarie are 100 - 150mtrs, stuff in the Grampians go to about 300m.

We have stuff upto about 300m within a 200 mile area, and longer stuff if you want to go to Scotland. My local stuff rarely gets longer than 30m though, I'm not complaining, its the best rock in the world tongue2

you only think its the best rock in the world, wait till you climb at Arapiles (my local crag) over 3000 routes from grades 2 up to 33 (33 is like roughly E10, 2 doesnt even show up! M's are like grade 7)

I cant think of anywhere else in the world that has a 3 star classic at grade 6, Arapiles has 4 of them!

The rock was designed to hold gear, you can literally throw your rack at the wall and clip whatever sticks the gear is that good.

when God created the world, He created Arapiles first. You my friends; climb on whatever He had left over!

Grade 6? But why?

Hmmm.... Climbing SA 23. Or was. 21 onsights comfortably. wink

Comes out as Aussie 24 and 22 I think.

Incidentally, that crag sounds awesome. Is nothing like that in SA.

Yeah but on grit, you can stand on nothing due to the amazing friction, and half the time the gear is good, but so far below you that you'll probably hit the ground with rope stretch. Makes for truly superb gibber potential grin

I'm at about Aussie 22 on bolts, and 19/20 on grit when I really don't wanna fall off.
